Background / History
Lu Ren first awakens the System’s Character Panel after surviving an attack by companions who transformed into a composite monster inside a tunnel. Hospitalized and treated as a possible murderer, he responds by using his first three free attribute points on Spirit rather than physical traits. 6
He trains relentlessly in swordsmanship and combat, then survives seven days in the Otherworld Wasteland. The System rewards him with attribute and skill points, which he uses to strengthen his body and upgrade Basic Swordsmanship. He subsequently begins formal martial-arts training under Li Ziqing. 41
After signing an employment agreement with Zhang Li, Lu Ren receives combat equipment and commits himself to daily Falcon Fist and sword practice. His rapid advancement eventually brings him into the Security Administration Bureau’s sphere of operations and the wider Martial Dao world. 50 84
Li Ziqing’s death becomes a defining event. Lu Ren uses his spiritual power to delay his teacher’s collapse but cannot save him; Li Ziqing dies satisfied that Lu Ren has brought Falcon Fist to its extreme and entered Clairvoyance. 177
Lu Ren later develops the Ten Worlds Sutra, pursues Establishing the Dao, and builds an Inner World capable of containing powerful spiritual beings. As his cultivation changes him further from an ordinary human body, he continues to judge humanity by one’s heart rather than physical structure. 299 334 379
Appearance
Lu Ren’s appearance changes substantially with his cultivation. His original 1.75-meter frame grows to roughly 1.97 meters through martial training, with a heavily muscled but proportioned build and an usually calm, cold expression. He later compresses his normal physique to around 1.9 meters. 152 464
- Broad shoulders, pronounced back and neck musculature, and an imposing “iron-tower” build. 152 256
- In normal conditions, he favors practical dark martial attire or combat equipment. 254 167
- His Fourth Ground Bodhisattva Form exceeds three meters in height, with metallic bronze skin, golden-bronze eyes, dense cranial ushnisha, altered organs, and reinforced skeletal structures. 180
- Higher Bodhisattva forms can manifest a vertical eye, additional arms, wings, halos, scales, Buddhist script, and a sixteen-foot golden body. 205 270 335 370
- His Great Witch Body can expand to an enormous giant form while retaining high speed and agility. 533
Personality
Lu Ren is cautious by nature and initially avoids physical conflict unless his life is at stake. The System gives him confidence, but his early survival instinct remains central to his decisions. 6 15
He is exceptionally disciplined, treating practice, combat reflection, and point allocation as practical tools for growth. He credits perseverance and courage rather than talent alone, even when others recognize that his progress is abnormal. 152 223
Lu Ren can be blunt, smug, and self-assured, particularly once his power makes others treat him with deference. He is also ruthlessly pragmatic toward enemies and deliberately avoids leaving behind threats that may endanger him later. 132 138
Despite this brutality, he values his teacher’s legacy and assumes responsibility for his disciples. He establishes a martial school in Li Ziqing’s name, protects Li Qingling, and later searches for someone worthy of inheriting his mantle. 215 416 417

- Uses explosive speed, rapid strikes, and concentrated penetration to damage internal organs through external defenses. 65 170
- Can break the sound barrier during bursts of movement and punching. 161 170
- Its accumulated effects include rapid attack, penetration, lightness, recovery, endurance, and True Phoenix Intent. 172

- Lu Ren inherited the art from Li Ziqing and later intends to preserve it through a martial school. 177 215
Swordsmanship
Lu Ren began with Basic Swordsmanship but raises it to a level comparable to elite school techniques through System-enhanced repetition and combat application.
- At Adept level, he can perform forty-eight cuts within one second. 61
- His strikes emphasize direct, efficient cuts, thrusts, lifts, and slashes without ornamental movements. 148
- Can wield twin swords with no meaningful difference between his left and right hands. 148
- Employs swordsmanship alongside extreme speed to kill opponents before they can react or draw weapons. 140

- Grants body-and-mind resonance and burst states. 128
- Helps him control impulses, desires, and physical action through the concept of the “Burning Lamp.” 116
- Supports rapid mental refinement and stabilizes his will during combat. 150
- Allows him to unlock greater physical output by harmonizing mind, body, and intent. 126
Ten Worlds Sutra

- Its later Myriad Forms function allows Lu Ren to borrow strength from his future self and incorporate varied forms and abilities. 338
Bodhisattva Dharma Appearance
Lu Ren’s body can undergo radical transformation through the Ten Worlds Sutra and its predecessor paths.
- Ten Realms Seal compresses his immense true body into a more manageable human-sized form. 193 300
- The Fourth Ground form reinforces skin, bones, ribs, organs, and muscles through controlled cellular mutation. 180
- Higher forms develop multiple arms, a mental eye, wings, halos, scales, and Buddhist radiance. 205 270 370
- His true forms provide extreme defense against hostile environments, Yin influences, True Wind, and energy-based attacks. 239 370 471
- The earliest full transformations are difficult to reverse; returning to a human form risks severe cost and possible loss of martial ability. 193
Magnetic Field and Spiritual Control
Lu Ren develops extremely refined command over his own life magnetic field, spiritual will, and bodily processes.
- Can regulate muscles, organs, and physical functions with exceptional precision. 162
- Uses spiritual intent for precise communication without speech. 186

- His will can interfere with reality by driving cellular mutation when paired with the Bodhisattva Path. 179
- Possesses a vertical Mind’s Eye that detects magnetic fields, hidden conditions, and the strength of others. 236 476
Inner World
Lu Ren possesses an Inner World that becomes increasingly vast, controlled, and self-contained.
- Can trap Nascent Souls and other beings within it. 299 347
- Suppresses attempted self-destruction and can enforce his will over the Inner World’s inhabitants. 347 540
- Reshapes the Inner World into an egg-like proto-universe infused with Chaotic Qi. 554
- Converts captives into contracted contributors rather than killing them outright when he judges their future utility valuable. 554
- Later develops it into an Inner World Universe, far beyond the incomplete worlds produced by other cultivators. 741
Witchcraft Path and Great Witch Body
Lu Ren later develops a body-focused Witchcraft Path rooted in humanity’s ancient struggle against the world rather than innate Witch ancestry. 658
- Draws on the Essence Qi of the Great Earth for healing, power, armor, and regeneration. 575 576
- His Natal Star is the Earth itself, allowing Hou Tu essence and starlight to continuously strengthen his body. 553
- Can regenerate severe injuries, including a deliberately broken leg, with Earth Essence Qi. 575
- His normal Great Witch Body reaches about 4.5 meters, while his full true body can grow close to one hundred meters. 574 533
