Lu Ren survived the Silent Forest, returned to Shu Capital, and built up his fighting skills before Hyperdimensional Perception sent him to the Otherworld Wasteland. He left the ruins with Xiang Yang after fighting several monsters and began asking whether anyone else remained in the city.

• Lu Ren escaped Lana'ye and the Silent Forest, survived Staye’s possession, and returned to the real world after the system ended the event.
• Chen Wen and Song Jingxian investigated Lu Ren over his missing companions, but the lack of bodies and evidence left the police unable to charge him.
• Lu Ren trained at Li Ran Fighting Club, fought off three attackers, and studied swordsmanship under Yan Zhenghua before leaving when Yan refused to teach him further.

Lu Ren closed the interspatial passage in the Testing Center, returned to the real world, and gained strength through martial arts training. After joining the Alternate-Space Exploration Plan, he advanced his sword and fist techniques as his body began transforming again.

• Lu Ren accompanied Xiang Yang into the Testing Center, fought through its creatures, and learned that the passage was expanding and threatening to pull the base into it.
• Lu Ren killed Chen Guohua, exposed Xiang Yang’s deception, killed her, and used the collider to collapse the passage before encountering the Outer God Edora Doyagara.
• Zhang Li questioned Lu Ren about the alternate spacetime, and Lu Ren accepted quarantine while concealing the details of his system.
• Lu Ren raised his attributes, trained under Li Ziqing, and learned Falcon Fist before receiving money and a villa from Zhang Li.

Lu Ren entered the Netherworld, found his way into Chentai City, and became entangled with its authorities as the Yang Membrane weakened. When the city fell to invading demons, Lu Ren joined Lita and a group of fighters seeking a secret escape route.

• Lu Ren arrived in the Netherworld, survived the Dead Lake and ghostly threats, then met Zhang Yan and Chen Ling, who guided him through the Yang Membrane to Chentai City.
• Lu Ren bought a residence and trained in Chentai City, where he killed thieves and fought off a Black-Haired Vengeful Woman with Cao Jingde’s help.
• After the Yang Membrane weakened, Chen Ji and three Blue-Clad Envoys tried to place Lu Ren under supervision, but Lu Ren killed them and drove off two Yin Demons.
• Demon Ghosts invaded Chentai City and destroyed Lu Ren’s house, so he helped Cao Jingde and the Blue-Clad Envoys fight a Green Ghoul before heading to the Prefect’s Manor.
• The Asura broke through the manor’s wall, and Lu Ren teamed up with Lita to reach an underground passage while the city was overrun.
• Lita gathered fighters to attempt an escape through the passage to Zhaofeng Pavilion, but a Nuppeppō blocked their way and regenerated into a corpse demon.
• Lu Ren shot apart the corpse demon’s tentacles, giving Lita a chance to retreat as the other fighters attacked it.

Lu Ren survived Nurarihyon’s pursuit, returned from the Netherworld, and rapidly advanced in Falcon Fist before joining the Security Administration Bureau. After training under Li Ziqing and learning of a Spatial Rift tomb rumored to hold traces of immortals, Lu Ren reunited with Zhang Shengjie and faced two assassins.

• Lu Ren fled Nurarihyon with Lita and Nuo Shan, but Nuo Shan and Lita were killed as the demon pursued him, and Lu Ren finally destroyed Nurarihyon with a bomb and fell unconscious as he returned through the Spatial Rift.
• After waking in the hospital, Lu Ren improved his attributes and Falcon Fist, healed rapidly, and demonstrated his growing strength to Zhang Li.
• Lu Ren joined Team One at the Security Administration Bureau, where he defeated He Liran and several other martial artists before fighting Team Three captain Chen Daoli to a draw.
• Zhang Li invited Lu Ren to compete in the nationwide tournament’s special martial arts matches and warned him that the Fist Law Schools might retaliate against him.
• Li Ziqing taught Lu Ren about advanced fist laws and breathing techniques, while Lu Ren trained at dangerous heights until he neared Great Completion of Falcon Fist.
• Li Ziqing asked Lu Ren to preserve Falcon Fist and told him about an ancient tomb rumored to hold traces of immortals inside a Spatial Rift, then left as Lu Ren continued training.
• Lu Ren met his old university roommate Zhang Shengjie at a restaurant, where a disguised waitress attacked him and a short-haired assassin opened fire.
