• Dugu Chen raised three Soul Rings to one hundred thousand years, reached Title Douluo, and learned that the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings recognized his Light and Darkness lineage.
• The Evil God marked Dugu Chen and gave him a trial to kill one thousand Fallen Ones, which led Dugu Chen to enter the City of Slaughter.
• Dugu Chen killed one thousand Fallen Ones, passed the Evil God’s First Trial, and received a second trial to kill ten thousand.

Dugu Chen awakened Tang Chen, claimed the Asura inheritance, and took control of the City of Slaughter before returning to his allies. In the Far North, he helped Ice Empress survive her tribulation and emerged from meditation with the Dragon God Claw and a glimpse of the Origin of the Law of Light.

• Dugu Chen defeated the Blood-Red Nine-Headed Bat King and freed Tang Chen from Rakshasa's corruption, but Tang Chen died after asking him to fulfill three final wishes.
• Dugu Chen absorbed the bat king's million-year Soul Ring, reached the peak of rank ninety-five, and gained its External Soul Bone.
• Dugu Chen returned to the City of Slaughter, defeated Blood Soul Douluo and the rebels, and appointed Black Moon to govern the city in his absence.
