Huo Yuhao returned from the Extreme North with Huo Qubing newly awakened as his aid, and reunited with Zhu Lu at Dragon City. After the month-long holiday, Shrek Academy began a new term, though Yuhao and Zhu Lu had not yet returned to join their friends.

• Huo Qubing awakened as Huo Yuhao's aid and promised to protect him, while Wei Qing urged him to help the person Ju'er had chosen.
• Huo Qubing entered Huo Yuhao's Spirit Sea, where he met Wei Qing, Elex, and Tian Meng and enlivened their gathering.
• Huo Yuhao traveled back to Dragon City as the Ice Empress slept and the Snow-Treading White Wolf nourished her spirit.
• Zhu Lu waited at Dragon City's gates until Huo Yuhao returned, then embraced him and asked him not to risk taking so long again.
• When the holiday ended, Xiao Xiao, Ning Tian, Wu Feng, and Wang Dong reunited at Shrek Academy and wondered where Huo Yuhao and Zhu Lu were.
