The long street stretched like a dragon, shops lined up in neat rows on both sides, and all kinds of pedestrians flowed endlessly through it. There were no lack of high-ranking officials and nobles among them, as well as extraordinary cultivators carrying weapons.

The man had sword-like brows and starry eyes, his dark hair hanging loosely like a waterfall. He held an ancient, unadorned longsword in his hand, and an air of transcendent detachment emanated from his entire body. As he walked slowly through the bustling market, he stood out like a crane among chickens.
At the sight of such a dashing swordsman, many people revealed looks of astonishment.
Before the passersby could spare him more than a few glances, Eastern Spirit Imperial Guards clad in black armor had already ridden forward to clear the way, separating the crowds on both sides of the street.
Only the white-clad Sword Cultivator stood alone upon the empty street.
Then a gilded carriage rolled steadily forward and stopped in the middle of the street. Several demonic beasts drawing the carriage exuded terrifying auras, frightening the passersby on either side into pale-faced shock.
When they saw someone hurriedly leap down from that luxurious carriage, murmurs of discussion immediately erupted all around them!
