"Roger knew all about this," Whitebeard said in a low voice, "he found the Poneglyphs and learned the truth, but the time was not yet ripe, so he chose to wait and pinned his hopes on the next generation."
"But now we have no time to wait," Silba said, "what is your plan?"
Whitebeard remained silent for a moment, then raised his head: "I am heading to the Void Rift."
Silba took a shocked step back: "That is the most dangerous area in the New World, even you might not return alive!"
"Precisely because of that," Whitebeard replied calmly, "that is where the Dimensional Barrier is at its weakest, and also the key to understanding the Void threat. If a way to combat the Void can be found there, perhaps we can buy more time and wait for the true members of the D Clan to fulfill the prophecy."
Silba sighed deeply, knowing he could not change the legendary pirate's decision: "I will continue to observe the celestial phenomena and provide support for you."
