It was a magnificent city shrouded in purple haze, its towering spires piercing the clouds. Strange creatures of every shape walked its streets; some were vaguely humanoid but had extra limbs or organs, while others were utterly beyond human imagination, like flowing masses of energy.
"This is what I saw in the Void," Lin Ye explained. "The Five Elders have already reached some kind of agreement with the Void Creatures in exchange for power beyond human limits."
Everyone silently watched the projection, stunned by the existence of this otherworldly realm.
"Did you see what specific agreement they reached?" Sabo asked, his eyes gleaming with the sharpness unique to an intelligence officer.
"Not the exact details, but based on what I observed and the information I gathered, the Five Elders promised to make our world the new territory of the Void Creatures. In return, they would gain the power of the Void Dimension and become the rulers of the New World."
The image in the projection changed, revealing the Five Elders standing before a massive purple altar. Parts of their bodies had undergone Voidification, and Alfred in particular had completely abandoned his human appearance.
"They are no longer human," Lin Ye said heavily. "At least, not entirely. They are gradually transforming into Void Creatures. The process has granted them tremendous power, but it has also twisted their minds."
Ace lowered his head and looked at the patterns on his chest. "Then why did the wound on my chest... turn into this?"
Lin Ye turned toward Ace and carefully examined the glowing purple patterns on his chest. "That is a 'Dimension Anchor' left behind by the Five Elders' Void weapon. It was supposed to drag your soul into the Void, but your immense vitality and willpower turned that injury into an opportunity
