"Erase concept: Lin Ye's existence."
This was the most direct and thorough form of erasure. It did not kill him; it made the very concept of "Lin Ye" cease to exist.
Everyone would forget him, and every effect he had ever had would be erased, as though he had never appeared.
But the attack had no effect.
It had not been blocked. Rather... it could not find its target.
"Impossible!" The Concept Eraser showed emotion for the first time. "You're clearly right there!"
"I'm here, but I'm also not," Lin Ye said. "When you try to erase the concept of 'Lin Ye,' I cease to be Lin Ye. When you stop, I become Lin Ye again."
"Is this a macroscopic manifestation of a quantum state?" Wu Wu asked in shock.
"No, this is superposition on a conceptual level," Lin Ye explained. "I am simultaneously every possible version of myself."
He took a step forward.
After that single step, countless versions of Lin Ye appeared in the surrounding space.
Every one was real, and every one represented a possibility.
There were versions of Lin Ye who continued fighting, versions who chose to negotiate, versions who had already lost, and versions who had already won.
"This is the true form of super-reality," all the versions of Lin Ye said at once. "Not changing reality, but choosing reality."
The Concept Eraser and the Dimension Cutter retreated at the same time.
For the first time, they felt threatened.
The threat was not one of power, but of the form of existence itself. Their attacks were all based on certainty, while Lin Ye now represented uncertainty itself.
Just then, the End Executor, who had remained silent all this time, suddenly moved.
But rather than attacking Lin Ye, the End Executor turned toward its two companions.
