The radiance of the Multiversal Symbiotic Network had surpassed that mottled mass of chaotic light in both "weight" and "depth of resonance." The Thought Sea Origin Will issued its final pulse:
"The weighing is complete."
"The keynote of the new era-'pluralistic symbiosis, dynamic evolution'-is established."
"The anchor of conviction is set."

The entire Thought Sea trembled.
The vortices formed by the seven extreme projections flickered violently, then contracted amid a sigh laden with complex emotions. They solidified into seven motionless "monuments of ideals," standing throughout the Heart Sea. They still emitted radiance, but no longer possessed the active power to forcibly assimilate anything. They remained only as testimony to history and a warning.
The Heart Sea grew calm. Countless mental images sensed the change in keynote. A set of "underlying rules" that was more inclusive, more flexible, and encouraged connection and creation was written into the melody of the Thought Sea.
Lin Ye's consciousness slowly emerged from its merged state, still maintaining the deepest connection to the newborn Resonance Network. His heart of "contemplation" had become the network's natural "perceptual focal point."
The Origin Will's orb of light cast a gentle ray toward him, carrying a vast amount of information:
"Scribe of the era, or perhaps... Tuner. The new keynote is established, yet the Thought Sea is vast, myriad worlds are entangled, and the old trajectories carry immense inertia. You and your Resonance Network shall serve as the 'first impetus' and 'sustained tuning force' of the new era. I grant you the corresponding authority, and with it, boundless responsibility."
Information about that authority flooded in: Lin Ye gained higher-level abilities of "observation," "connection guidance," and "resonance enhancement." He could also draw on the network's power to intervene
