• Bai Chen and Snow Empress ambushed Ye Xishui with Du Busi and Xuan Zi, but Ye Xishui escaped after losing her Blood Souls and triggering a self-destruction that Snow Empress and the other experts contained.

After the Sun-Moon Empire and Holy Spirit Cult attacked branches across several nations, Bai Chen prepared a forbidden spell to track the attackers through their victims’ soul traces.

• Bai Chen killed Ha Luosa, survived the Ghost Emperor’s self-detonation, and watched the Demon Empress seize Chen Xinjie and self-destruct, leaving him gravely injured.
• Bai Chen gained more of the Evil God’s divine position affinity and accepted a trial to kill the Demon Empress, then sought Di Tian’s support for the Soul Spirit method and won the Silver Dragon King’s cooperation.
• Bai Chen made Bear Lord his Soul Spirit, gained the Heaven-Rending Claw, and secured the Star Dou Great Forest’s backing for the Spirit Pagoda, which he publicly established through a successful experiment with Ning Tian.
• Bai Chen recruited representatives from the major factions and Xuan Ziwen, then killed Ye Xishui and Feng Ling during the attack on Mingde Hall before escaping Kong Deming and the Sun-Moon Imperial Soul Engineering Corps.
