Su Yu nodded and told him everything that had just happened. After listening, Gu Lin commented on his actions, "I'll acknowledge your attack power for now."
Su Yu ate a cream puff. The soft, sweet, cloying texture made him squint slightly, and he huffed. "Good thing I don't have any feelings for them."
Because he had no feelings for them, whatever amends they wanted to make, he could ignore them completely. He could even stab them in the back.
Gu Lin glanced at him. "You don't have feelings for anyone."

Su Yu answered carelessly. Hearing his perfunctory tone, Gu Lin could not help saying, "Heartless."
"But don't you think living like this is happier?"
"I don't agree."
