Fang Yun gently moved his arms, his brows tightly furrowed. His hands seemed no longer his own, and it felt as though great stones weighing dozens of pounds hung beneath his arms.

Fang Yun continued onward. A quarter of an hour later, a golden gate suddenly appeared in his mind, followed by his own figure standing before it. Just as he was about to step forward, a host of the Dragon Race emerged, spewing Dragon Flame and instantly burning him to ashes.
"This..." Fang Yun had not expected the Valley of Adversity to conjure images of his own death in his mind. He thought that it truly did torment the will.
Although ripples stirred in Fang Yun's heart, he paid them no heed and continued plowing.
Yao, Shun, and Yu were three ancient leaders of the Human Race, and the Confucian School revered them as virtuous, enlightened rulers whom all sovereigns and emperors should emulate. These three sovereigns held an extraordinary significance among the Human Race.
Thus, whoever entered the Valley of Adversity would first experience the Valley of Shun, emulating the ancient sages by farming, living with their feet firmly on the ground, and studying diligently. Through these grueling trials, they would come
