After becoming a Peak Grand Academician or a Great Scholar, one could merge a Star Position into a Literary Platform.
A seven-foot-tall middle-aged man appeared atop Lei Zhongmo's World-Covering Literary Platform. Mist obscured his features, and he wore a loose white robe, his long hair spilling down his back. Though he radiated no power whatsoever, he seemed the sovereign of an entire world, holding all realms beneath him in check.
A faint golden glow enveloped the World-Covering Literary Platform.
Without looking at Saint Zong's phantom behind him, Lei Zhongmo bowed his head toward the front and said, "Please manifest your world-covering power."
"As you command."
Saint Zong's phantom made no apparent movement, yet a long river suddenly appeared in the sky, shimmering with myriad colors, hazy and indistinct.
The Demon Kings present grew dizzy after a single glance and lost all sense of time. They felt as though their thoughts had sunk into an endless river, leaving them unable to think.
Saint Zong's phantom suddenly reached into the river and seized a ball of light. Within it, the faint figure of a Great Scholar of the School of War loomed, his imposing aura soaring to the heavens. Just as the phantom was about to throw the ball of light, an ancient bronze war chariot appeared above Fang Yun. It bore some resemblance to the South-Pointing Chariot and was mottled with rust.
Eighteen Dragon Horses clad in black armor pulled the chariot. Fine specks of starlight constantly appeared around their bodies, swelling and shrinking without cease.
Behind these Dragon Horses was a chariot much like the two-wheeled war chariots of the Spring and Autumn period, but far larger. A tall flagpole stood upon it, and an old man stood atop the pole, extending his right arm and index finger straight ahead.
