At the end of that sea of trees lay an undulating mountain range, seemingly marking the edge of the Tree Realm and cutting the forest in half. Not a single tree grew on the mountains, and their rocks were all dark red. From afar, they looked like a blood dragon lying across the land.
The mountains varied in height, but even the lowest rose ten thousand zhang. Above their peaks stretched endless gray-white clouds, surging outward in every direction from deep within the mountains, like ten thousand mighty rivers spreading into a sea.
These mountains were the Tree Realm's Blood-Dropping Mountain.
Fang Yun examined them carefully and finally discovered a gap between two mountains. His heart settled, and he knew he had found the right direction, for that was the only path leading to the Blood Tree.
Fang Yun immediately leaped down from the giant tree and rode Flowing Current toward the gap at full speed. Much later, he climbed to another treetop and saw that Blood-Dropping Mountain was already close. The gap he had seen from afar had grown immensely wide; it was a canyon.
