From every angle, that dusky yellow sun looked like a great disk wreathed in faint yellow flames, like a setting sun at twilight embedded between two branching horns.

The dragon held his head high. There were no eyes in his sockets, only pools of dusky yellow light.

That light held no emotion whatsoever.

With every inhalation, he drew in vast quantities of turbulent time currents. With every exhalation, he expelled endless fragments of space.

The order of this entire realm seemed governed
