Marcus froze stiff, staring at Chu Yang in disbelief. "You're only a first-year. Where did you learn those spells?"

"They're all written in books, aren't they?" Chu Yang sneered. "Besides the Disarming Charm, I can also use the Petrification Curse you just mentioned."

Realizing that things had gone terribly wrong, Marcus hurriedly shouted, "Stop him!"

Harper immediately pulled out his wand and prepared to cast a spell at Chu Yang. Yet the instant he drew his wand from his robes, a flash struck it with perfect accuracy!

Another wand flew away!

"How can you cast so fast? Not even fifth-years can cast that quickly!" Harper cried in panic, quickly drawing the attention of the older students nearby.

Some of them merely watched.

Others immediately chose to help Harper and Marcus.

If word got out that the two of them had been disarmed by a first-year, the older students would lose all face!

And they had been disarmed by a non-Pure-blood wizard!

The older students who had been watching the show one after another drew their wands, all preparing to attack Chu Yang with Disarming Charms.

But then something terrifying happened... no matter who it was, as long as they intended to make a move, Chu Yang's Disarming Charm would arrive within a second and strike the wand in their hand with pinpoint accuracy, without exception.

At that moment, Chu Yang seemed able to foresee the future!

In barely twenty seconds, a pile of wands had accumulated on the floor of the Common Room!

"That first-year cast the Disarming Charm more than ten times in such a short time! Not even an adult wizard could have that much magical power!"

"He casts spells even faster than wizards who have passed their O.W.L. exams!"

Gasps kept erupting from the crowd. They had wanted to see that non-Pure-blood wizard make a fool of himself, but instead they witnessed something that overturned everything they knew.

As the ones who had started the trouble, Marcus and Harper regretted it so badly their guts were turning green!

"I told you, besides the Disarming Charm, I also know the incantation for the Petrification Curse." Chu Yang revealed a devilish smile. He had no intention of letting these people off so easily; that was not the outcome he wanted.

Chu Yang was someone who hated trouble. He found cockroach-like enemies especially annoying, so it was best to hurt them badly enough to settle things once and for all.

At the words "Petrification Curse," every older student who had intended to attack Chu Yang panicked!

"Run!"

Marcus shouted, then spun around and ran for the Common Room exit.

The others immediately followed. In their panic, they knocked over countless decorations, and the once elegant hall instantly became a chicken coop.

But no matter how fast they ran, they could not outrun the wand in Chu Yang's hand.

After several flashes lit up, the older students led by Marcus froze rigidly in place, unable to move. Only their eyes could blink slightly.

"Aren't you seniors going to class?" Chu Yang looked coldly at the older students who had only watched and offered a warning. "If you're late, our House will lose points again."

His icy words fell upon their hearts like winter frost. The "seniors" did not dare linger and rushed toward the exit.

This monster-strong first-year was clearly not someone they could handle. If they did not run now, were they supposed to stay and become statues?

A moment later, only a group of boys standing like sculptures remained in the Slytherin Common Room.

"I just want to study magic in peace. Why is that so difficult?" Chu Yang sighed and shook his head helplessly. "No matter how you look at it, it should be that old man Dumbledore's fault..."

For the hidden knowledge in the library's Restricted Section, no matter what Dumbledore had planned for him, Chu Yang could only grit his teeth and accept it!

Complaining all the while, Chu Yang stepped on their fallen wands as he walked out.

Crack~ Crack~

Hearing the sounds, Marcus and the others immediately showed pained expressions. At that moment, Chu Yang's retreating figure left a deep enough shadow in their hearts.

Once again, Slytherin students were absent from breakfast in the Great Hall.

Only this time, it was older students rather than first-years.

Snape vaguely sensed that something was wrong, but did not think much of it. As usual, he returned to the Potions classroom and prepared for his lesson.

Yet what happened next confirmed his foreboding.

More students were absent from class, and they were Slytherins again. After the lesson, Snape left the classroom with a grim expression!

As soon as the morning classes ended, Dumbledore summoned Chu Yang to the Headmaster's Office again.

Snape, wearing an equally ugly expression, had been waiting there for quite some time.

The moment the two met in the Headmaster's Office, the air immediately filled with the smell of gunpowder.

"Mr. Chu Yang, can you tell me whether you're taking revenge on those students, or on me?"

It was only the third day of term, and Slytherin had once again suffered a mass absence of students!

And the culprit was Chu Yang!

Snape's face was livid, and he trembled with rage. His voice was as cold as if it had been thawed from an ice cellar. "Since becoming Head of Slytherin, I have never seen anything like this."

Chu Yang looked at Snape's slightly reddened eyes and spoke sincerely. "I'm sorry, Professor Snape. I also want to live each day peacefully, but the environment won't allow it. Perhaps it would be more practical for you to speak with Headmaster Dumbledore and let me transfer Houses."

Snape snorted coldly. He knew very well that Dumbledore had deliberately placed Chu Yang in Slytherin, and he more or less understood Dumbledore's intentions.

Dumbledore might warn Chu Yang, but in truth, he was happy to see Chu Yang teach those overly arrogant Slytherin students a lesson.

Besides, Hogwarts had never had a tradition of transferring Houses. Once the Sorting Hat had assigned a student, it was for life.

"Mr. Chu Yang, transferring Houses is impossible. Hogwarts has never had such a precedent."

Dumbledore first corrected Chu Yang's attitude before turning to Snape. "Although Chu Yang used the Petrification Curse on those students, we have learned that the older students were the ones who attacked first."

"Professor Snape, I believe Slytherin needs to strengthen its character education. A group of older students bullying a first-year is hardly something honorable!"

The veins in Snape's neck nearly throbbed with rage. He suddenly recalled what he had said to Chu Yang in Potions not long ago. He had not expected the other boy to slap him in the face with his strength so soon.

And it had been an extremely loud slap!

Probably every year in the entire House had heard it!

Dumbledore adjusted his glasses and said solemnly, "The Petrification Curse is not a particularly harmful spell. This matter ends here. If those students have any objections, you may send them to me. I doubt anyone would have the nerve."

After sorting through the entire matter, the key was that those older students had attacked first.

Therefore, no one could condemn Chu Yang for defending himself.

Snape could only swallow the humiliation of being slapped in the face by Chu Yang and hurriedly took his leave.
