Lawless cried out uncontrollably.

"I can guarantee that amount isn't a joke."
"Anyone who can put up that many Points wouldn't be joking around."
Blair replied with a bitter smile.
"5 million Points!"
"I never thought my head would be worth so much!"
"If they weren't after my life, I'd almost want to sell myself for such an enormous sum of Points."
Qin Ran exclaimed repeatedly.
Thanks to his initial choices and his habit of thoroughly exploiting every dungeon world, Qin Ran possessed wealth beyond what ordinary people could imagine.
Yet even for him, producing 5 million Points all at once would have been extremely difficult.
Unless he sold off his core equipment and items.
But that was simply unrealistic.
Qin Ran would never do something so unprofitable as drinking poison to quench his thirst or killing the goose that laid the golden eggs.
Likewise, Qin Ran believed others would not do unprofitable things either.
Therefore, whoever was willing to spend 5 million Points to place a bounty on him either bore a deep grudge against him or... had ulterior motives!
And, as it happened, Swordsmith had just given him a warning.

While Qin Ran was guessing, Lawless had already slammed a hand on the table and stood up.
"Broker!"
"It has to be that bastard!"
"That damned bastard!"
After everything that had happened, Lawless's feelings toward Broker had long changed from initial wariness to gnashing hatred.
If he ever got the chance to kill Broker, Lawless would not hesitate to pull out his gun and blow the man's head apart.
So, upon discovering that someone had offered an unimaginable price for Qin Ran's life, Lawless instinctively thought of Broker.
That instinct was
