Qin Ran met the curator in a café outside the Rain City Museum.
"Hello, Mr. 2567."
"I'm Boer Nelson. Something came up, so I'm sorry for moving our meeting forward."
A neatly dressed elderly man with meticulously combed gray hair stood before Qin Ran and politely extended his right hand.
"That's all right."
After shaking his hand, Qin Ran invited him to sit.
"What would you like to drink?"
"Shall we proceed with the interview as we discussed?"
"Or did you have something else in mind?"

"Just water, please."
"Let's stick to what we discussed. Changing the agreed time was already my fault. If I changed anything else, the guilt would keep me awake at night."
The old curator joked.
Clearly, this harmless joke quickly brought everyone closer together, sweeping away the slight distance and awkwardness between them.
