Amid the muffled thuds, the ground trembled incessantly.
The densely packed ghosts parted neatly to either side as two enormous figures approached from the distance.
Victor's eyes widened involuntarily, and his mouth fell slightly open. But the suffocating pressure of those enormous bodies left him unable to utter a word.
A moment later, Victor was completely engulfed in shadow.
He looked up at the two immense figures, his throat dry. Instinctively, he tried to swallow, only to find he could not.
His entire body had gone rigid.
The two Anomalies before him were simply beyond anything he could have imagined.
One had a bull's head.
The other had a horse's head.
Both stood a full ten meters tall. Even the dense forest could not conceal them; the taller trees barely reached their waists.
More importantly, both Anomalies radiated an overwhelming menace.
That menace came not only from their strength, but also from their killing intent, telling Victor that these two Anomalies were absolutely not just for show.

The Upper Evil Spirit leading the way bowed as it spoke.
Beside it, Victor followed the Ghost Lady's lead and bowed again.
This time, Victor did not hesitate at all.
Even without his memories, he could sense that these two Anomalies were the sort that would kill without batting an eye.
"Enter!"
The Minotaur spoke in a deep, rumbling voice.
Its words rolled into Victor's ears like muffled thunder, making his chest tighten.
But he had no attention to spare for that.
The Horse-Headed Monster had already bent down and grabbed several large trees.
