What was that?!

Every player in Giant City raised their heads and looked at the sky.

Eyes—they naturally recognized them.

Such enormous eyes were something everyone was seeing for the first time!

Even Broker, who had been prepared, was no exception.

As he watched the eye that occupied nearly half the sky, Broker's breathing hitched slightly, but he quickly returned to normal.

"What an honor!"

"We meet again, Lady Witch."

As he spoke, Broker put on a show of bowing.

But the enormous eye did not respond at all.

It merely watched Broker and the people around him.

Then it blinked.

At once, the entire Giant City began to shake.

The earth quaked and the mountains trembled!

But it was not a simple earthquake.

It was...

Splitting apart!

Cracks first appeared across the ground, then spread directly toward the sky.

One supposedly absolutely safe Giant City residence after another began to collapse.

In the blink of an eye,

Giant City had become ruins.

Only a platform remained.

A stone platform gathering every player from Giant City.

This included those permanently stationed in Giant City, as well as those who had temporarily left it.

Everyone stared at one another.

They had no idea what was happening.

Most of them knew nothing after that.

They turned into specks of white light and vanished one after another.

The familiar people around them instinctively reached out, trying to grab their comrades and companions, but it was impossible. Their raised hands could only pass through the white specks of light.

A futile effort.

"I told you."

"Isn't it good to be alive?"

"Even in The Cage, isn't being alive good?"

Ling lay half-sprawled on the ground, muttering to himself.

His muttering was not loud.

Yet on the deathly silent platform, everyone remaining heard him clearly.
