Qin Ran lifted a foot and lightly tapped the other man's cheek.
But in the next instant, the man and his chair flew straight into the wall beside him.
The chair shattered on impact.
The ropes binding him naturally could not hold him back.
Yet after spitting out several bloodied teeth, he went limp on the floor.
That collision had not merely shattered the chair; it had shattered his bones as well.
"You remnants of the Dawn Church, you will definitely regret this... Aah!"
Despite the fractures throughout his body, the man remained as arrogant as ever. But before he could finish speaking, a scream cut him off.
Qin Ran's toe pressed down on one of the man's fingers, grinding it from side to side.
"I think you should use a more appropriate term for us, rather than 'remnants'!"
"Don't you agree?"
As Qin Ran spoke, he gradually increased the force beneath his foot.
Blood soon flowed from under his boot.
Then came the sound of bones cracking.
When Qin Ran lifted his foot, that finger had already become a mangled lump of flesh.

Qin Ran stepped on another of the man's fingers.
"Can you tell me what kind of organization the Revival Society is?"
"And, of course, what exactly is the thing you want?"
Qin Ran asked.
"Remnants of the Dawn Church... Aah!"
The man possessed astonishing stubbornness. The way he addressed Qin Ran and the old nun remained unchanged, so pain arrived as promised.
And Qin Ran did not waste any more words.
After crushing one of the man's fingers, he immediately stepped on the next.
When every finger on the man's left hand had been crushed and Qin Ran began stepping on the fingers of his right hand, the old nun showed an expression
