The old nun fell silent, her expression changing.
Qin Ran looked at her in surprise.
Her expression told him that she knew about the Angsilanko Codex, but her silence...
"Do you have some concerns?"
Qin Ran asked.
The old nun shook her head hesitantly, then turned and left.
Qin Ran did not stop her. He merely frowned slightly.
He knew there was something behind this.
He also knew that Kately knew what it was.
Unlike with other matters, however, Kately would certainly give him a misleading half-truth about this, deepening the misunderstanding between him and the old nun.
In fact, if he had not seen through Kately's game, he would have been full of doubts by now instead of considering the matter calmly.
"Sister Mony fell silent after I mentioned the Angsilanko Codex... Clearly, she must be unable to speak about it herself!"
"Or she can't answer anyone who asks about the Angsilanko Codex."
"Once she speaks, some kind of harm will inevitably follow!"
"And not to one person, but two: the person asking and the person answering!"
Considering the old nun's character, Qin Ran soon reached this conclusion.
If she were the only one who would be harmed, the old nun would never have hesitated so much.
But if someone else were involved, that was another matter entirely.
"The Angsilanko Codex?"
Muttering to himself, Qin Ran pushed open the door to the interrogation room holding the remaining prisoners.
He hoped to learn more about the Revival Society from them.
But the results disappointed him.
These people knew nothing about the so-called Revival Society.
Even the information Qin Ran obtained from the wizard prisoner was far from detailed.
He learned only about three things.
First, the Revival Society was a secret organization founded twenty years ago.
Second,
