Ye Yu answered with the Thunder Emperor, then summoned the Sword Venerable through the Heaven Slaying Sword Drawing Technique, leaving the clash between their colossal figures poised to begin.

• Ye Yu and Ye Chengjun matched each other’s formations as stars and Sword Qi collided, leaving the watching geniuses awed by the gap in their power.

Ye Yu stayed behind after securing the Xu family’s victory in the Great Family Competition, while Ye Chengjun escaped the ancient battlefield severely injured. After learning what happened, Qin Ruoxian ordered Jade Pond to protect Ye Yu as Ye Chengjun called for the exit to be sealed and demanded Ye Yu’s death.

• Ye Yu killed the remaining Ye family members and told Qing Yi to leave with the Jade Pond members, but Fat Monk stayed with him.

Ye Yu broke down in Xu Yunxi’s arms over the pain of his past, while Xu Yunxi decided to sacrifice herself so he could survive as either a Fate Defier or a Heaven’s Mandate Holder. She crippled Ye Chengjun and placed Autumn Water in his hand, preparing to make Ye Yu kill her.

• Ye Yu told Xu Yunxi that he could not forgive his former self, and Xu Yunxi embraced him and accepted blame for what he had suffered.
• Xu Yunxi realized she could still resolve the conflict if she died by Ye Yu’s hand, and told him she only wanted him to live well.

Ye Yu rejected the Imperial Path rather than sacrifice everyone he cared about, but Qin Ruoxian vanished while saving him. As the Void Sky Cauldron moved to attack, Li Daoyi pierced Xu Yunxi, and the Fate Locks on her began to shatter.

• Ye Yu refused to kill Fat Monk and abandoned his chance to become Emperor, while Fat Monk awoke and escaped after their master-servant contract ended.
• Qin Ruoxian embraced Ye Yu and dissolved into motes of light, draining Yaochi’s power as she revealed they had met beneath a peach tree long ago.
• The Void Sky Cauldron broke free and attacked Ye Yu, while Po Jun, Seven Kills, and Tan Lang severed its chains and held back the order chains.

Ye Yu rejected the emperor’s offer of power and confronted the fate binding him and everyone else. After the Mirror Spirit appeared, Ye Yu accepted the causes that had brought him here and vanished from the great hall, then reappeared beyond the Heavenly Abyss amid gray radiance.

• The Cauldron Spirit poured its power into Xu Yunxi to slow the collapse of her Fate Lock, while invisible chains of order immobilized Xu Yunting and Guan Yunlan and revealed the cage surrounding everyone.

Ye Yu used Karma to break the Fate Locks and free Xu Yunxi and Ye Chengjun, while the old man finally let go of his obsession and the Emperor disappeared. As the Divine Continent fell into the Greater Thousand World and war erupted, Ye Yu and Qin Ruoxian settled into a peaceful life together.
