Su Ming split the team between Ego's planet and the ship, then secretly searched the planet and discovered a vast mineral vein. As Yondu confronted Rocket and Wanda, Su Ming began extracting and refining the vein to recover some of the money Ego had cost him.

• Su Ming sent Pietro, Gamora, and Destroyer with Star-Lord to meet Ego, while Rocket, Wanda, and Groot stayed behind to repair the ship and watch Nebula.
• Mantis explained that she could soothe emotions and put people to sleep, then instantly knocked Drax unconscious.

• Ancient One told Strange that he and Mordo would need to combine their strengths to defeat Dormammu, then vanished after telling him to trust his heart or Su Ming.
• Rocket began drilling into Ego’s core with the fighters’ lasers while Quill and the others prepared to kill Ego.
