Su Ming helped bring down Hydra, then was transported with the Guardians to Xandar and imprisoned in Kyln. He escaped with a growing band of followers and brought them to Knowhere, where he considered putting Quill in charge before returning home.

• Steve exposed Pierce and Hydra over S.H.I.E.L.D.'s broadcast, while Natasha revealed Pierce's admission and Su Ming exchanged the Helicarriers for billions.
• Bucky fought Steve aboard the last Helicarrier, then remembered their friendship and left Steve alive as Su Ming brought the others to his base.
• Gamora's confrontation with Su Ming caused the Orb and Starcore Fragment to transport them, Quill, Rocket, and Groot to Broker's shop on Xandar.
• Rocket's weapon destroyed the shop, and Nova Corps arrested the group and sent them to Kyln Prison.
• Su Ming subdued the guards and prisoners, became their leader, upgraded his Sorcerer Supreme talent, and contacted Alisha from the prison.
• Quill, Rocket, Gamora, Groot, Drax, and Su Ming organized a prison break, and Su Ming lifted the guard tower into the hangar for the prisoners and guards to escape.
• Su Ming exchanged Kyln Prison for $1.2 trillion, then led the escape fleet toward the buyer while Ronan ordered a search for the Orb.
• At Knowhere, Su Ming brought the group to meet the buyer's agent and asked Quill whether he wanted to lead them while Su Ming returned home.

Su Ming absorbed the Celestial tissue fluid, defeated Ronan’s attack on Knowhere, and formed the Galaxy Guard Corps before returning to Earth. He rescued Wanda and Pietro from Hydra, taking Loki’s Scepter and leaving Wanda ready to confront Iron Man.

• Su Ming absorbed the Celestial tissue fluid and encountered the headless Celestial’s consciousness in the Nightmare Crystal, resisting its attempt to take over his soul.
• Ronan seized the Power Stone and attacked Knowhere, but Su Ming shielded the prisoners, rallied them against Ronan, and drove him to retreat.
• Su Ming named the united prisoners and allies the Galaxy Guard Corps, appointed Quill deputy commander, and arranged for Tivan to support the Corps with uniforms and spacecraft.
• Su Ming returned to Earth and entered the Hydra fortress in Sokovia, where Wanda’s Chaos Magic erupted as he and the Ancient One clashed.
• Su Ming calmed Wanda’s power and freed her and Pietro, then protected them from Hydra guards and escaped through a portal with Loki’s Scepter.
• As the Avengers confronted the fortress, Wanda saw Tony Stark and asked Su Ming to take her to him.

Su Ming reunited with the Avengers, protected Wanda and Pietro, and joined their farewell gathering as Tony and Banner secretly created Ultron. When Ultron attacked and escaped, Su Ming left for Xandar, where he halted Ronan’s assault but the battle left Quill struggling to contain the Power Stone.

• Su Ming joined the Avengers and Wanda and Pietro for a hotpot meal, where the twins explained their past and Tony accepted their anger over Stark Industries’ weapons.
• Su Ming told the Avengers about his time in space, healed Clint, and promised Wanda and Pietro other arrangements while Tony and Banner examined the Mind Scepter.
• Tony and Banner secretly built Ultron using the Mind Stone, and Ultron awakened, turned against humanity, and attacked the Avengers’ farewell banquet before escaping to Sokovia.
• Su Ming demonstrated his power over Mjolnir at the banquet, while Quill and his allies launched an assault on Ronan’s Dark Aster as it approached Xandar.
• Su Ming opened a portal to Xandar, halted the Dark Aster, and attacked Ronan, while Ultron escaped into the internet and awakened Hydra’s experimental vessels in Sokovia.
• Su Ming converted the Nova Corps fighters and the Dark Aster, knocked Ronan unconscious, and helped Quill, Gamora, and Drax survive their fall, but Groot was scattered by a shell.
• Su Ming caught Rocket and told him Groot was fine, then destroyed Ronan’s hammer, and Quill seized the freed Power Stone, whose energy began tearing him apart.

Su Ming helped the Guardians, recruited Wanda, Pietro, and Peter, and negotiated access to Wakanda while Ultron pursued the Regeneration Cradle. The arc ended with Su Ming warning Tony and Banner that uploading JARVIS into the contaminated Cradle would create a monster.

• Su Ming defeated Ronan with the Power Stone, and Quill kept the stone after giving Yondu a decoy orb.
• Su Ming learned from the Collector that the Starcore Fragments came from the First Firmament, then returned to the Guardian Corps as new threats drew him back to Alisha and her team.
• Su Ming confronted Ultron during the attack on Klaue’s ship, forced him to transfer money, and left the Avengers to fight while Wanda and Pietro challenged them.
• After Wanda’s magic drove Hulk into a rampage, Su Ming restored the destroyed district, leaving Tony’s unfinished building damaged and taking responsibility for the aftermath.
• Su Ming interrogated Klaue, learned how to reach Wakanda, and sent Wanda, Pietro, and Peter to retrieve Klaue’s sonic weapon in Busan.
• Su Ming stopped the fight between the trio and T’Challa’s party, warned T’Challa about Erik Killmonger, and offered Wakanda a new shield in exchange for Vibranium and legal access.
• Ultron stole Dr. Zhao and the Regeneration Cradle, while Su Ming upgraded his powers and halted the formation of his Dharma Form True Body.
• Ned revealed Ultron had infected the Cradle, and Su Ming warned Tony and Banner not to upload JARVIS into it after they recovered it.
