Li Wei heard the reporter's voice and called out.
No answer.
Well, Gwen had already run off, just as he'd expected.
Anyone else would have been furious.
She had abandoned her post during work hours.
But Li Wei had been prepared for it. He'd only wanted to check.

Ghost-Spider appeared on the screen. Petite and incredibly agile in the air, she gripped her webs with both hands and swung onto the building's glass facade.
Clinging to the glass with one hand, she shouted, "Scorpion, I'm your opponent!"
"Get lost, Spider-Man!"
Scorpion shouted and drew back his fist to smash through the thick glass.
Seeing that, Ghost-Spider flew at him with a Jump Kick.
Bang!
Scorpion slammed to the ground.
Before Gwen could follow up, the officers on the scene opened fire.
Bang, bang, bang!
"Whoa! The bullets can turn!"
The blonde reporter exclaimed, "See that? Those are Future Technology Company's smart weapons. The bullets turn toward their locked targets, so stray shots won't hit civilians!"
A defining feature of smart weapons was their ability to lock onto enemies and curve their bullets.
No trick shooting required!
Something felt off to Li Wei. "Why does this sound like an ad?"
Red Queen said sheepishly, "Master, I contacted her on behalf of the company and paid her a sponsorship fee."
"..."
That explained it.
Red Queen said, "The AI called JARVIS does the same thing. Tony Stark also owns shares in many media companies. They give him positive coverage and shape public opinion."
"Damn!"
Now Li Wei understood.
No wonder Tony Stark always got so much attention. He wasn't buying publicity!
He owned the outlets!
Lesson learned!
The smart bullets struck Scorpion with tremendous force.
They packed a bigger punch than ordinary bullets, too.
