Merlin abruptly leaped out of the Nutrient Pool. His appearance was extremely strange, even hideous and terrifying. Only his upper body and head remained human; everywhere else was covered in thick black fur. He extended his claws, two talons as sharp as blades.
His legs were thick with muscle, containing terrifying explosive power. Strangely, though Merlin was still standing, he seemed to feel an instinctive urge to drop onto all fours.
Now that he had transformed into a Two-Headed Wing Wolf, an instinctive talent for combat surfaced in his mind. He barely needed to familiarize himself with his strength before he could unleash its terrifying power with ease.
Whoosh.
Merlin pushed off with his legs, and his enormous body instantly became a blur, darting around the laboratory. His speed was simply inconceivable. Had it been nighttime, there would have been nothing to see, only the sound of rushing wind.
"Such incredible speed."
Merlin was also pleasantly surprised. Though he had long known that speed was the Two-Headed Wing Wolf's greatest trait, he had never expected it to be so fast that he was almost impossible to see.
With speed like this, even if he could not win a fight, he could still escape.
It seemed choosing the Two-Headed Wing Wolf back then had not been without its advantages. Moreover, this was only the third form. Once he achieved Full Beastification and grew a pair of wings, his speed would soar even further, reaching a truly terrifying level.
"Not bad. Extremely fast. As for strength..."
