Inside the secret chamber, Hert the Raging Bear King glanced at Merlin. For some reason, Merlin felt that look carried another meaning.
"Deputy Leader Leo, I trust Isha gave you a simple introduction to this mission?"
Hert spoke calmly.
"Isha gave me a brief explanation, but there are still many things I don't understand. For example, what exactly did the White Elephant King do that makes it absolutely necessary for us to kill him?"
Merlin asked directly. He believed that even if he did not ask, Hert would tell him anyway.
"It's simple. The White Elephant King took something he should not have taken. He killed a member of the Royal Family, and that royal had a key in his possession—a key forged from gold, extremely conspicuous. All you need to do is retrieve that key from the White Elephant King. You may choose four team members. What do you think?"
