In front of the castle in White Elephant City, a massive ape seized Mengdi's enormous body and slammed him into the ground like a toy.
Mengdi's body was already enormous in his Fourth Beastification Form, but compared with the terrifying ape before him, he was utterly dwarfed.
"How weak! How long is your leader going to keep hiding like a coward? He actually killed the White Elephant King and the Purple Rhino King. The commander is furious, and the consequences will be severe."
The massive black ape planted a foot directly on Mengdi. Mengdi was already on his last breath, utterly powerless to resist. This black ape was at least a terrifying being who had achieved Full Beastification, since his entire body had transformed. Moreover, his was certainly not a low-rank giant beast bloodline. He had achieved Full Beastification with at least a mid-rank giant beast bloodline.
"Remember this: I am the Black Ape King, the fifth guardian under the commander! Die!"
A cruel, savage grin spread across the Black Ape King's face. He slowly raised his foot. One stomp would be enough to finish Mengdi.
Isha and Xiya were helpless. The Black Ape King had gravely injured them too, leaving them no choice but to watch Mengdi hover on the brink of death.
"Bang!"
Suddenly, the entire ground shook. A blood-red figure flashed past, and the Black Ape King flew backward, crashing heavily to the ground.
"Deputy chief?"
"Deputy chief, you're finally here!"
When Xiya and Isha saw that the blood-red figure was Merlin, delight finally appeared on their faces. The Black Ape King was simply too powerful. They were utterly incapable of standing against him.
"Heh heh, you finally came out. Playing with these little fellows was getting boring."
The Black Ape King had barely been hurt.
