Led by Lorinka, Merlin arrived before a tall tower.
When he had viewed these towers from afar before, Merlin had only felt that they were tall, majestic, and magnificent. But now that he stood beneath one and viewed it up close, he realized that these towers were not only tall, but enormous as well.
The walls of this tower were grayish white. It seemed to have been built a long time ago. Faint wisps of white light emanated from the grayish-white walls, so subtle that they would be impossible to notice without close attention.
The source of that white light was the mysterious runes on the walls. These runes densely covered the entire tower, and an exceedingly peculiar fluctuation radiated from it.
This must have been the Rune Formation Lorinka had mentioned. It was precisely because of these Rune Formations that the towers within the Dark Spirit Domain could be built so majestically.
Besides Leo Mage's tower, there were actually several other towers nearby. However, compared to Leo Mage's tower, they were like a sorcerer's trick before true magic.
Leo Mage's tower soared into the clouds. At a glance, its uppermost portion seemed to pierce the heavens, shrouded in mist and clouds so that the top could not be seen at all.
Among all the towers in this area, it stood alone like a solitary branch in bloom, exceptionally eye-catching.
"Lorinka Mage, Leo Mage's tower is built so high. Doesn't that mean Leo Mage is extremely powerful?"
Merlin asked Lorinka doubtfully. He clearly remembered that Lorinka had once said that within the Dark Spirit Domain, only those with greater strength could build taller towers.
Merlin and Lorinka were clearly people the Gray-Robed Mages did not think highly of, Spellcasters of relatively poor aptitude. In Merlin's view, Spellcasters with poor aptitude
