A tall, slender figure gradually emerged from the pitch-black shadows. In the eyes of the many Extreme Powerhouses, there was nothing particularly "special" about that thin figure.
Yet his eyes remained calm. Perhaps he was the only person present whose gaze held any composure.
"Leo, you..."
The eldest princess trembled when she heard Merlin's words, her gaze filling with complicated emotions as she looked at him. In truth, their relationship had consisted of her constantly trying to win him over.
She had even sacrificed her "charms." Yet through their subsequent interactions, she had discovered that those "charms" had accomplished little. In a situation this dangerous, Merlin was far more likely to simply leave. After all, that would have been the sensible choice.
But Merlin had stayed.
"Lisa, don't worry. I'll help you achieve what I promised you!"
A faint smile touched Merlin's lips. Suddenly, he turned his gaze toward Feilong, who was enduring immense pressure.
Feilong took a deep breath and said with a self-mocking smile, "Leo, I never thought the day would come when we fought side by side..."
Indeed, in Feilong's mind, Merlin was already someone he had to kill. Reconciliation was almost impossible, for they represented different interests.
Yet now, faced with this threat, the two of them had joined forces to hold out until the end.
Merlin swept his gaze across the room before finally fixing it on the Doomsday Blood Butcher. His eyes gradually turned cold. "Doomsday Blood Butcher, today you'll pay for hunting me down back then."
Boom!
Terrifying bone spurs rapidly sprouted all over Merlin's body as he swelled in size. An incomparably fearsome giant beast appeared.
He no longer resembled a Blood-Eyed Demon Dragon. Instead, he had become a bizarre monster that looked like no recognizable creature. Almost all the Extreme Powerhouses
