The five Great World Lords were all among the most formidable Controllers.
One after another, they entered the enormous gate of light. Merlin was the last to enter. He had passed through many worlds, yet the moment he stepped into this gate of light, he lost his sense of direction.
It seemed that beyond the gate of light, there was no direction at all. He could not even sense the barriers of a world, as though this was not a world in the first place.
However, Merlin soon sensed what was extraordinary about this place.
"Whoosh..."
It was a violent gale. This gale contained terrifying energy, seemingly capable of easily destroying a Dimensional Domain. Even the most powerful Great World Lords felt fear.
Yet this gale was rapidly vanishing, while even as it vanished, it continuously gave rise to more.
"Destruction and rebirth..."
The words almost blurted out of Merlin's mouth. The first thing that naturally came to his mind was destruction and rebirth. These were powers unique to the Source Realm.
Upon seeing this gale, there was no doubt about it. This was the Source Realm!
"Look, the Void Beasts ahead. Have they all gone mad?"
Suddenly, the Eastern Domain World Lord stared at the Void Beasts in the distance, his face filled with disbelief.
Merlin followed his gaze and saw a vast number of Void Beasts ahead, gathered in groups. They had all entered from outside the gate of light earlier, and now the gate of light could no longer be found.
These Void Beasts now seemed to have spotted some kind of "delicacy," madly pouncing toward a patch of Black Cloud ahead. Yet that Black Cloud contained a strange power. Whenever a Void Beast lunged into it, it would instantly and bizarrely shatter into fragments.
"Puff, puff."
