The Five-Domain World Lords unleashed their world power, spreading it violently across the entire void. Within the Source Realm, there were only two kinds of power: destruction and rebirth.
Void Beasts represented the power of destruction, while Controllers represented the power of rebirth. When these two utterly different forces collided, they naturally unleashed terrifying shock waves that shook heaven and earth.
Some of the weaker Void Beasts nearby were instantly crushed by a mere sweep of the Five-Domain World Lords' world power. Only the lord-class Void Beasts could withstand it!
But there were simply too many Void Beasts, especially lord-class ones. There were more than twice as many of them as supreme beings like the Five-Domain World Lords-a full dozen or more.
For a time, battles raged throughout the void. Powerful as the Five-Domain World Lords were, they could do little against so many Void Beasts, especially now that the lord-class beasts had finally joined the fight.
These lord-class Void Beasts could almost give physical form to the power of destruction. Within their bodies, they had all but condensed tiny seeds of the source of destruction.
Relying on those tiny seeds, the lord-class Void Beasts could unleash terrifying might unlike anything seen before. They could manifest the power of destruction, and a single strike of that power left even the Five-Domain World Lords barely able to resist.
Thus, once the Void Beast Lords made their move, the situation changed completely. The Five-Domain World Lords struggled to hold on, while ordinary Controllers and Liberators could not withstand those destructive forces at all.
Merlin had remained among the crowd. The powers of rebirth and destruction within him were rapidly growing, especially the power of destruction. In the past, it would probably have seized control and utterly destroyed Merlin's Illusory
