Inside the carriage, Merlin was observing the two spell models within his Sea of Consciousness.
The mana accumulated within the Fireball spell model was already quite substantial. Merlin estimated that it could release about twenty-five ordinary Fireballs.
Such an amount of mana was already quite formidable. Old Aita's spell notes had mentioned that ordinary spellcasters, after a long period of accumulation, barely reached the point where they could release thirty spells at once. Yet now Merlin, who had constructed his spell models a mere two or three months ago, was already close to approaching the accumulation of ordinary spellcasters over several years.
Among this, the spell models that Merlin constructed using the Matrix, chosen from eighteen thousand spell models as the finest ones, were naturally much better than the spell models constructed by ordinary spellcasters. At least, the limit of the spell models in Merlin's Sea of Consciousness definitely far exceeded a mere thirty ordinary spells.
The mana accumulation for the Freezing Spell was not slow either, and it could now cast the spell seven or eight times.
Yet relative to the rapid growth of his mana, Merlin's Mental Power grew very slowly. Relying solely on the low-level Meditation Art, the growth rate of Merlin's Mental Power was extremely limited.
If he followed this speed and practiced step-by-step, it would take Merlin at least another half a year for his Mental Power to reach a level sufficient to support a third spell model.
Half a year might not be considered slow for ordinary spellcasters, but Merlin had only spent two or three months going from an ordinary person to a powerful spellcaster. Therefore, half a year could already be considered quite long to Merlin.
Aside from the slow growth of his Mental Power, there was also the scarcity of spells.
