"How are the seven large Spellcaster Organizations doing?"
In a crude room, Klais, clad in a blue Mage robe, asked calmly.
Before Klais stood a Ninth-level Spellcaster. Cold sweat beaded on his forehead as he felt an invisible pressure in Klais's presence.
"First Elder, we have been closely watching the movements of the seven large Spellcaster Organizations. A few days before your arrival, they each sent several Great Mages to Gray Mist City. We do not know what they discussed specifically, but afterward, they all returned to their respective Spellcaster Organizations, and there has been no movement since."
"No movement? They must be discussing how to deal with me. There is no need for discussion. Send word to the seven large Spellcaster Organizations—I have arrived. The destination: Gray Mist City!"
Klais's words greatly startled the Ninth-level Spellcaster, and he could not help saying, "First Elder, we should defeat the seven large Spellcaster Organizations one by one. That would be very unfavorable for you!"
"Defeat them one by one? Who said I intended to defeat them one by one? If they can gather together, that would naturally be all the better. It would save us from wasting so much time. Go quickly. I have my own arrangements!"
Klais's tone brooked no doubt. The Ninth-level Spellcaster did not dare say anything further and cautiously withdrew.
After a long while, a strange power seemed to faintly emerge from Klais's body. The space around him appeared to have been severed into piece after piece, like a smooth mirror shattered apart.
Crack.
Space shattered in an instant. Klais's figure abruptly became blurred...
