Preliminary Perfection of the Mental Power System

Merlin continued examining the inherited memories in his mind. Most of them were methods for fighting with Mental Power, too numerous to count, but they were of little use to the current Merlin.

Merlin knew very well that these were meant for the Purple Clan members whose strength was lacking.

Besides methods of using Mental Power in battle, Merlin finally found cultivation methods for Mental Power as well. His spirits lifted. This was what he had been anticipating most: he wanted to see what unique insights this Supreme Existence had regarding the Mental Power System.

Perhaps, by comparing it with Ditas's Mental Power System, he could perfect the Mental Power System even further. After all, only Ditas had truly cultivated Ditas's Mental Power System to profound heights. Yet even so, his Illusory World had not been perfected. Merlin did not know whether there was some flaw in it.

In short, Merlin was now a pioneer. Although he largely approved of the Mental Power System created by Ditas, he was not entirely at ease with it. Now that a Supreme Existence had also devoted himself to perfecting the Mental Power System, having something to compare against could not have been better.

In the Purple Emperor's inheritance, the cultivation of Mental Power was very pure: it simply meant endlessly increasing one's Mental Power. There was no talk of comprehending realms. As long as one's Mental Power reached a certain level, one could naturally employ certain powerful attack methods.

The Purple Emperor had personally tested this through practice, and he had long ago left these cultivation methods behind for the Purple Clan. They were simply not as complete as those within the inheritance.

Moreover, the Purple Emperor's final few major realms were comparable to the realms
