"Sloth Beast?"
Merlin and Santo had both nearly forgotten. Following where Flameglow pointed, they indeed saw the enormous Sloth Beast. The skin on its head bore scorched marks, and there was even a foul smell. It had likely been burned by the pale blue flames left behind by the Flame Emperor.
If the Flame Emperor had come in person, the Sloth Beast probably would not have held out for so long.
Fortunately, once the Sloth Beast returned to the Void Realm, it quieted down. It was originally a very mild-tempered monster that basically acted only on instinct. After struggling in the Flame Domain World for so long, it was exhausted. The moment it returned to the Void Realm, it fell asleep and lay utterly still.
Both Merlin and Santo were greatly tempted by this giant fellow. Back then, the three Arcane Mages had besieged the Sloth Beast because they wanted to raise it in captivity. It was a terrifying monster not the least bit inferior to a Supreme Existence, perhaps even more useful.
However, the three Arcane Mages had failed to control the Sloth Beast, and so they eventually gave up. But now, Santo was full of confidence in Merlin.
"Mage Merlin, you are now a Glory Monarch. The Mental Power System you created is truly miraculous. I wonder whether it might be possible to raise this Sloth Beast in captivity!" Raising a Sloth Beast was something ordinary Alien Civilizations did not even dare dream of. Whenever the Sloth Beast awakened, it could swallow countless Planes in a single gulp. Who could stop it then?
Moreover, the Sloth Beast possessed incomparably formidable strength. Even many Supreme Existences could not control it, much less ordinary people. Thus, raising a Sloth Beast in captivity had practically become an impossible task.
Merlin pondered
