Before long, the warship came to a stop over a vast continent.
Merlin knew that this was not a real continent. Like the other places within the Atlan Plane, it was merely a Star-Class Ship.
"This is actually the headquarters of our Resistance Army."
Bereo explained to Merlin.
"Headquarters? Is the First Fleet's base also at headquarters?"
Merlin's heart stirred. Seeing Bereo nod, he gradually understood. Although the Resistance Army was divided into three major fleets, the leader truly trusted only the First Fleet. Otherwise, he would not have stationed the First Fleet so close to headquarters, practically using it to guard the headquarters while sending the Second Fleet and Third Fleet away.
Boom.
The hatch opened, and a beam of light shone into the warship. Merlin narrowed his eyes. At once, he sensed that this was not naturally produced light.
The light was gentle and not at all harsh, warm and pleasant, yet lacking the blazing heat of sunlight. It was vastly different from the light he had encountered in the many Planes of the Void Realm.
With Merlin's current Mental Power, he naturally extended his senses toward the source of the light at once. Before long, he discovered that a massive star hung high in the sky. Though it radiated light, it was not natural, but a luminous energy body. Merlin could even clearly see the metal mechanisms within this artificial star.
"Creating stars... I wonder whether this was made by the Remnant Clan or the Atlan Civilization."
Merlin did not pay it much mind. In the Void Realm, once one became a Supreme Existence, even creating a Plane was possible. This was nothing remarkable.
"Captain Merlin, welcome to the Resistance Army and the First Fleet!"
A familiar figure approached Merlin at once—the First Fleet's commander, Marshal Keno.
