Merlin knew he could not destroy the entire base for now, but he had to keep its people under his control, at least until the Void-Class Warship was completed.
As for energy, his Golden Radiance Armor had devoured the Plane Core, so it could naturally release a portion of that energy. Given the immense size of the Plane Core, even a tiny fraction would be enough to keep the entire base running.
The only troublesome part was controlling the Atlan people inside the base. He could not do without them now, since the base would not function properly without them, but neither could he remain in the Atlan Plane forever.
"Looks like I'll have to control the entire base temporarily. Once I've settled matters in the Atlan Plane, I can send my Law Incarnation here to take my place and keep its people under control."
Merlin was unwilling to give up the people in this base. After all, anyone involved in building a Void-Class Warship had to be among the most knowledgeable people in the Atlan Civilization. They were extremely valuable, and Merlin hoped to continue building more Void-Class Warships in the future.

With a thought, Merlin acted. Now that he possessed the Illusory World, he could separate a portion of his mental power to form an independent illusory world, though this would cause some damage to his Illusory World.
Still, this fragment was so very small that it could not damage the foundations of his Illusory World at all.
