Chapter Summaries

Ian created the Sixth Magic, Near-Omniscience, by studying Zelretch’s Second Magic and accessing the Source. After using it to investigate Ea and the Chains of Heaven, he finished his research and prepared to meet Scathach before leaving for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

• Ian helped Tohsaka recreate the Jewel Sword, summoning Zelretch, who agreed to take her as his apprentice.
• Ian traded Zelretch a blueprint for a demonstration of the Second Magic and studied how it affected timelines and the laws of the world.
