Ian and his team arrived at their destination quickly, or so they thought at first. However, as soon as they entered this new world, everything around them began to spin, and the situation was even worse than the first time.
"What happened?" Ian asked.
"I don't know," Morgana replied, and more diagnostic procedures were launched. The diagnostic process lasted longer than expected, and it wasn't until the spinning stopped completely that Ian got an answer.
"So, what's going on?"
"The universe seems to be shaking and shifting."
"Displacement? How is this possible?" He knew his destination very well, and this place should be safe - especially for someone with his level of power.
"Did this universe suddenly awaken its consciousness and become a living creature?" He asked, thinking of their previous experiences.
"That doesn't seem to be the case."
Ian groaned. Small accidents happened one after another, and he felt unhappy about it.
"Okay. How are our systems doing?"
"It appears that some of these systems have been damaged or malfunctioned."
"Are you serious?" Even the previous chaos in Void failed to damage any system in Floating City. How could it cause such damage when entering a universe?
"What happened?" Ian asked. Before he could receive a reply about the system damage, Morgana continued reporting, "Boss, we are surrounded."
A screen appeared in front of Ian, and his pupils suddenly shrank, "Is that Amazon?" Many women wearing armor and holding cold weapons surrounded the city, some of them riding horses. His eyes were locked on a woman with long black hair; she was beautiful, solemn, exuding power and charm.
"Wonder Woman?" He was sure it was her because the memory of a specific animated movie came to mind. Before his reincarnation, Marvel dominated the box office and DC dominated the animated movie scene.
They have released a rebooted version of the <Justice League> animated movie, and the Wonder Woman in front of you is exactly the same as that version.
"Can anyone tell me what's going on?"
His destination should have been the Flash TV series universe, which is CW Universe. His purpose was to study Speed Force, which is another manifestation of Law of Time. Therefore, Wonder Woman should not have existed in that universe.
"I don't know," Morgana replied, and Ian took a deep breath. He closed his eyes and contacted Akashic Records. Soon, he saw a reply from the blue-winged House-elf customer service similar to his artificial intelligence.
"Mr. Ian, how can I help you?"
"You sold me the wrong coordinates."
"This is impossible. We would never make this mistake."
"Then explain the situation to me," he responded, and showed her the screen displayed by Morgana. House-elf frowned and said, "Please wait a moment, I will retrieve your file."
After a few seconds, she looked apologetic.
"So, you are indeed mistaken."
"Strictly speaking, yes and no."
"What do you mean?"
"The coordinates are indeed what you requested. However, a major change occurred recently in Void. We should have sent you a warning, but failed to do so."
"What major change?"
"I'm afraid this exceeds your authority level."
"You are the ones who made the mistake, so you must answer my questions as compensation."
Blue House-elf paused for a few seconds; she seemed to be operating something. Then, she spoke:
"To answer your question, universes like DC and Marvel are going through an event called [Fusion]. Previously, many of the 'animations', 'movies' and 'TV series' you are familiar with were independent but connected worlds to Prime Universe (comics). But now, all worlds are in Fusion."
Ian had to hold back from yelling. He had read the comics, so he knew how scary they were. The lowest level of power was Twelfth Tier, and might even be as high as Fourteenth Tier. With his mere strength of Eighth Tier, even if he adds Floating City of Tenth Tier, he is just a bigger cannon fodder.
'Wait a minute, my main destination for this voyage is Marvel Cinematic Universe. Doesn't that mean that world is also over?' He exhaled and calmed down.
"What's going on with this Fusion? Doesn't that mean the danger level of these worlds has become higher now?"
"Yes, quite literally. Fusion of DC Universe has just entered the late stages, while Marvel Universe is still in the early stages, so there is still plenty of time before the danger level of these worlds reaches its peak."
Ian breathed a sigh of relief. As long as he finished handling matters in DC as soon as possible, he could rush to his destination and still have enough time to deal with it calmly. He looked at House-elf:
"Can you tell me how long this process will last before it is over?"
"Sorry, this information exceeds your permission level."
Ian could see that she would not give in on this issue, so he did not insist, but changed the topic to other aspects:
"Since this is your mistake, are you ready to compensate me?"
"Of course. We have refunded your previous purchase fee. We hope that our processing will satisfy you."
"I am indeed very satisfied," Ian nodded, and he noticed that his Knowledge Points balance had increased. "Okay, thank you for your service."
"Please wait."
"Anything else?"
"You have a message from Lord Merlin," House-elf said. "Do you want to check it now?"
"Yes! Hurry up."
"Don't worry. I'm fine; I'm just a little busy. Also, there's not much time left to speed up your growth."
Ian First of all, he felt relieved that the old man was safe and sound. After not hearing news from him for so long, he began to feel a little worried. Luck What's more, he didn't encounter anything unexpected.
Later, he noticed the ominous shadow lurking behind these words. The calm feeling that he had enough time before disappeared and was replaced by a sense of urgency.
"Is that all there is to it, or is there something else?"
"That's all."
"Thank you."
Ian opened his eyes and was greeted by a series of questions, "How is it? What did they say? Do you have a deeper understanding of the current situation? What should we do next?"
Ian sighed and explained the current situation to her.
"So, the world is indeed shifting and expanding. Our sudden intrusion disrupted this process, triggering a wave of Chaos energy that swept across us." Now, they finally figured out the situation. "What to do next?"
"You go fix the damaged system, and I'll deal with the people outside."
"Are you sure? These people are very hostile to men and I'm afraid they won't be too friendly."
"I know, but if the current situation cannot be handled quickly, they may alarm the gods of Olympus and cause other troubles. Therefore, it is best to find a peaceful diplomatic solution."
"It's okay on my end - I guess. What about you?"
"The world is very tolerant of magic, so we don't have to worry about it taking too long to adapt. Therefore, the only problem is repairing these damaged systems."
"Okay, everything is left to you."
Ian raised his hands and walked out of the city. As soon as he appeared, countless spears, swords and bows were aimed at him.
"Relax, I come in peace."
"Man? Why are you trespassing on our territory?" Queen Amazon, mother of Diana (ie Wonder Woman) asked Hippolyta.
"It was an accident. My spaceship accidentally landed here."
"A spaceship? Such a big city is a spaceship?" Diana asked.
"Well, even though it's a little bit ostentatious, it is indeed a spaceship."
Ian saw her beautiful eyes light up and seemed to want to say a word of praise. Unfortunately, before she could speak further, Hippolyta spoke. "You are now stepping on Amazon's land, so before discussing how to punish you, accept the surrender. Don't make any hostile moves."
Ian frowned in thought. It was easy to subdue these people, showing them that he could easily hurt them. But such an action may cause negative backlash.
This might work if only Diana was present. But based on Hippolyta's image in various media works, this move might cause her to view him as a greater threat, leading to an escalation of the situation.
'That's it, let them catch me. These people can't hurt me anyway, so I just want to experience the feeling of being restrained that I haven't seen for a long time.'
Ian put his hands together to express surrender. Hippolyta signaled a Amazon soldier to come forward and tie his hands. Ian secretly shook his head at this primitive move in his heart.
He thought they would use some kind of magic Divine Artifact, but he didn't expect it to be just a rope made of special materials. This kind of restraint would be a nightmare for ordinary mortal men, but it was meaningless to him.
"Come with us," the Queen said with a stern face.
