"Loki," Thor shouted in a muffled voice. At the same time, the agents immediately aimed their weapons at him.

"How did you bypass our defenses?" Fury asked.

"You call that defense?" Loki mocked.

"Why are you here?" Thor asked. However, before Loki could answer, Natasha opened fire; she emptied the magazine at him. Unfortunately, this had no effect, as the bullet passed directly through Loki's body.

"That's not very polite," he smiled, and then looked at his brother. "To answer your question, I'm here to give you a gift."

"Be careful," Thor shouted to the confused Banner. However, it was too late. Another Loki appeared behind him, holding a scepter inlaid with Mind Stone in his hand, pointing directly at the back of his head.

"What a powerful spirit. It's a pity that it's all in vain," Loki commented. Banner quickly transformed into Hulk, roaring like Beast. Thor turned into a bolt of lightning and rushed towards his brother. However, as soon as he touched Loki, he was wrapped in a green sphere.

"I hope you like this gift," Loki's voice echoed. Hulk began to smash everything in sight. He leaped upward, smashing through more than three decks all the way up.

"Damn it," Fury shouted as he rushed towards the main deck. He needed to take control of the situation to ensure that Sky Carrier would not fall from the sky. The others went to put on their equipment. After Steve got the shield back, he chased Hulk to see if he could calm him down. Tony followed closely behind.

"You need to slow down the descent speed of the mothership," Steve ordered.

"Who are you talking to?"

"Now is not the time to argue about this. You are the only one who can fly."

Tony stared at him for a while, then flew away. His first thought was to repair the propulsion systems, which he did. However, within a few minutes, Hulk destroyed them.

'I thought that old man in red and blue tights would stop him,' Tony complained. The propeller was broken, and the only thing he could do was lift the behemoth by himself.

However, he didn't know if his armor could accomplish such a feat. After what happened more than two years ago, his self-esteem was hit, so he accelerated the research and development of the armor. But he was not prepared for this situation.

'Now is not the time to think too much.' Tony rushed under Sky Carrier, supporting its entire weight.

"Mr."

"What's wrong, Jarvis?"

"At this rate, we will lose all power within 35 minutes."

"It doesn't matter, because our goal is not to hold it up as long as possible. We just need to lower its height to reduce the damage caused by its crash," Tony said, and that's exactly what he did.

After supporting it for 10 minutes, his armor developed many problems due to the excessive load. Suddenly, lightning surged out of Sky Carrier, shocking Tony and everyone else. 'Thor?'

Thor broke the illusionary world his brother had trapped him in. "Loki," he roared. He flew out of the room and rushed towards Hulk.

He smashed the hammer on the head of the green Giant, knocking him out with one blow. The scarred Steve·Rogers looked at him in shock. However, Thor ignored him and flew outside, slowly lifting Sky Carrier to the ground.

"Are you really Thor?" Tony asked. Thor took the mothership from him effortlessly.

"Let's go check on everyone," Thor replied. It took a while to get everything settled, and the result was 12 people dead -- including Agent Phil Coulson.

Everyone looked at the body of Coulson, which was covered with white cloth. Silence and sadness flooded the whole room. Almost everyone had seen this kind-hearted and somewhat geeky agent. If there was anything shining about Coulson, it was that he was very likable.

"Loki... must pay the price." Everyone turned to look at Banner who had woken up. His face was pale, but his Wrath and hatred were almost obvious.

"Whatever he is planning, it can't be good, so we must stop him at all costs," Steve declared, and everyone else agreed. Just as they were about to discuss their next move, there was a loud noise outside. They rushed out to check, only to see a crack in the sky, followed by countless alien creatures pouring into New York.

"This was his plan from the beginning - an invasion," Steve analyzed. "Tesseract is the key to opening the portal. We must stop him."

Before he finished speaking, Thor raised Mjolnir and released a huge storm of lightning, killing most of the Chitauri that came out of the crack.

However, he soon realized that the next batch of enemies were harder to kill; it was as if someone had given them Blessing immunity to lightning.

Avengers spread out to deal with the situation. Tony, Thor, and Hulk concentrated on dealing with enemies in the air, while Captain, Natasha, and Clint concentrated on dealing with enemies on the ground. They were also responsible for evacuating citizens. Fury spoke to Security Council to request additional assistance, which Security Council also provided.

After solving all Chitauri, the rift opened again, ushering in the second wave of attacks, this time, Avengers was more efficient. Thor tried to find his brother on Stark Tower to stop this madness, but there was no one there.

They had to fight off four waves of attacks before Thor felt a powerful energy wave coming from the top of the building. He and Tony rushed up, and Hulk also jumped on. Others arrived there in a Chitauri aircraft.

"It's time for the final battle," Loki said with a smile as he looked at the group of people.

"Is this just a game to you?" Natasha asked.

"Yes."

"What's wrong with you, brother?"

Loki looked at Thor. "This will be our 457th battle. If I remember correctly, I only won 56 times."

"Wait a minute, I thought your win record was 205."

"I no longer feel the need to count those ignominious victories."

"It seems you have changed."

"More than you think."

"Now is not the time for family reunions," Tony said.

"That's right. You went too far this time, brother," Thor said.

"But you are wrong. Compared with what you are about to face, this is child's play," Loki laughed. "First, let's clear the obstacles." Natasha and Clint suddenly felt dizzy, fell to the ground, and could no longer stand up. They were conscious, but their bodies could not move. Steve immediately stepped forward to check on their situation.

"Their pulses are normal," he announced.

"Damn God," Hulk roared and jumped to the side of Loki, swinging his huge fist and smashing down. Loki calmly dodged his attack, and then punched him in the stomach, making Hulk flinch. However, the green monster became more Wrath, waving his fist more feverishly.

"You have strength, but no skill," Loki said calmly, dodging Hulk's attack and hitting him with his elbow; then he punched Hulk's knees, forcing Hulk to squat down to his level, and then hit the monster with an uppercut on the chin, knocking him out quite easily.

"Haha, it's too simple," Loki laughed, remembering how Hulk treated him in his original timeline. Everyone was silent. Except Thor, everyone felt a strong heart palpitation. They knew how terrifying the power of this rampaging monster was, but he was solved so quickly.

"Stand back and I'll deal with him," Thor announced. He walked forward calmly. "It seems you have become stronger."

"I feel the same way about you," Loki replied.

"Why not use this power to help Asgard? Why do this?"

"Beat me and you will know the answer," Loki sneered.
