"You did a great job - better than I expected," Ian praised. "This is your reward for this mission." Loki quickly checked the number of his points, with a big smile on his face. He can stay in the Library for three consecutive months. He took a deep breath to calm down. "What do you want me to do with Thanos?"
"Kill him and take over his army," Ian ordered. He has collected five Infinity Stoness and is only left with Reality Stones. Thanos is an uncontrollable variable, so it's time to get rid of him.
"My pleasure," Loki replied. Ever since he learned that Thanos killed him in his original future, he has been waiting for the opportunity to avenge himself. Now, the time has come.
"Okay, you can go." Ian still had a lot of work to do, so he sent Loki away.
"Before I leave, can I ask you a favor?"
"Help? What's the matter?"
"Can you build me a weapon?"
"Why are you mentioning this all of a sudden?"
"The reason why I had such a hard time fighting against Thor was because I lacked an exclusive weapon," Loki explained.
"With your achievements today, you can ask your father to ask Dwarves for a weapon," Ian said.
"I know, but I want one made by you."
"Well," Ian pondered. "Okay. I'll give you two options. The first is to pick it from my treasure house, where my most proud works are stored. The second option is that I build one for you personally, but you may have to wait a few years."
"I choose the second one," Loki replied without hesitation.
"Are you sure?"
"I'm sure."
"Okay," Ian nodded. "Do you have any specific requirements?"
"I want a multi-purpose weapon," Loki explained. "A weapon that can enhance my magic and melee abilities at the same time."
"No problem. Is there anything else?"
"Perhaps it's portable? It would be great if I could take it with me anytime."
"It can be done. What else?"
"That's all."
"Okay, but like I said, you might have to wait a while."
"I'm fine."
Ian finally sent Loki away and then started working. "What was the result?"
"They didn't take the bait," Morgana replied. "I've been scanning all activity on this planet, even the surrounding galaxies and dimensions, but I haven't found any trace of Hydra."
"It seems that Mephisto is more patient and scheming than I thought," Ian complained softly. He did not like this type of enemy. "Leave him alone. Let us complete Death Corps and Scarlet Witch Project first." The first step in Ian is to complete Death Lantern and manufacture Death Rings.
After regaining control of his Law of Death, he put the finishing touches on it. However, he encountered a second problem - finding the right people to wear these Death Rings.
Controlling Death Rings requires a unique talent. Even after scanning the entire universe, he only found 12 people with this talent.
"I think we might have to recruit undead for this legion," Morgana suggested.
"I know, and this was their original purpose," Ian added. "To transform the enemy's dead into soldiers on our side." Ian created a clone to recruit these 12 people and train them. Once they become full members, they can begin to create and recruit undead to join this legion.
His next focus is Scarlet Witch Project. He attaches great importance to this project because it will help him realize Soul Divinity and accumulate more data about Tier 11. While Ian was working hard, another person was in a similar state.
After flying away from Sky Carrier, Tony went to see Pepper to make sure she was okay. After making sure she was okay, he returned to Malibu's home. He turned on the TV and a reporter was talking about the invasion and its impact on Earth - including casualties.
"Jarvis, conduct an in-depth background check on the victim," Tony ordered.
"As you wish." Tony knew that Jarvis needed a few minutes, so he mixed himself a glass of wine.
"Sir, it seems that the minister is telling the truth."
"What did you find out?"
"None of the victims existed two years ago," Jarvis reported. "Their birth certificates, Social Security numbers, and identification documents did not appear in the system until two years ago. Yet they have digital footprints that were carefully forged and spanned decades."
"So, whoever fabricated their identities did it very carefully," Tony concluded. "What about their bodies?"
Jarvis showed him a photo in which a woman was crying over the body of her dead boyfriend. "I couldn't tell whether the body was real or just another illusion."
"Where is that woman?" Tony asked.
"There are various signs that she is an agent."
"Indeed, it was done very carefully," Tony commented. He stood up, poured himself a second glass of wine, and walked to his laboratory. "Jarvis, we are going to start a new project."
Ian looked at his clone and saw a red halo surrounding his head like a crown. "He is now worthy of the name Scarlet Wizard." This clone has established a deep enough connection with Chaos Dimension to be able to use unrivaled energy.
"The next step is to weave the perfect memory and create a one-time use Law of Time Divine Artifact," commented Ian.
"Boss, you were right to let me stare at Tony," Morgana said suddenly.
"Oh, what is he doing?"
"He invented Multiverse Travel Technology."
"Really? How long has it been outside?"
"Two weeks."
Ian frowned. "Even if he is Tony·Stark, is it too reluctant to develop this technology so quickly? Especially without any foundation and knowledge reserves?"
"But he did have something to learn from," Morgana added. "He took advantage of the data captured by Stark Satellite when Loki used Tesseract."
"I guess that makes sense," Ian nodded, lamenting the injustice of the world. The civilization of his home world spent billions of years trying to knock on Multiverse's door, but Tony·Stark only took two weeks - shorter than the time it took him.
"He's getting ready for a test," Morgana said, showing him a screen. Tony stood in front of a towering metal door with a portal in the center. "What do you want to do? Stop him?"
"No, this is the perfect opportunity to attack his pride," said Ian. "Secretly control his gates to ensure he enters a Level 0, no, Level 1 timeline." While Morgana was operating, Ian contacted Time Enforcement Team to prevent them from suddenly bursting into Tony's house and arresting him.
After everything was ready, Ian patiently watched Tony conduct countless tests and finally walked through the door in person. An hour later, he came back, still excited about what he had just experienced. Ian smiled secretly and then teleported to his room.
"What did you do?" Ian asked in a stern tone.
"It's just that Multiverse invented travel," Tony replied nonchalantly, with a bit of smugness hidden in his tone.
"You just triggered a Convergence, forcing our two universes to collide."
"I've never done anything like this."
"This is what happens when you open the door to another parallel dimension."
"Impossible," Tony said in shock. He just wanted to verify whether this man was telling the truth. La suddenly appeared in the room, with a trace of surprise on his face.
"Sir, we have detected a dimensional anomaly here. Is it you?"
"No. It was this idiot - he caused a Convergence."
La looked at Tony with glowing red eyes. "Do you need me to arrest him?"
"Arrest me? I didn't do anything wrong," Tony argued. "And, what evidence is there that I caused this so-called 'Convergence'?"
"Show him the data," Ian ordered, handing Tony a small tablet. He quickly browsed the information on it. "Impossible." Tony rushed to his computer and used his gate system to double-check the information. His face turned pale. The data was real.
The Dimensional Barrier between this universe and the one he just visited has now disappeared, and based on the residual energy he can detect, they are hurtling towards each other.
"This is impossible," Tony said, feeling like his mind went blank.
