After class, Ian was preparing to return to his room, when he suddenly met Harry Potter waiting at the door.
"What's the matter, Mr. Potter?" Ian asked.
"Professor, my godfather Sirius Black would like to treat you to a meal to thank you for helping him clear his grievances and giving Peter Pettigrew the punishment he deserves." Harry said with some expectation.
Ian frowned, thought for a moment, and replied, "I'm sorry, I have to disappoint you. I have a lot of things to do now, and I can't even continue teaching the rest of the semester."
"Really?" Harry looked a little disappointed.
"Yes. But tell Sirius Black that I will go see him when I am free."
Ian patted Harry on the shoulder, then turned and walked into his room. Soon after, Ian's cell phone rang, and the name Snape was displayed on the screen.
Ian activated the magic barrier in the room to ensure that no one was eavesdropping, and then connected the phone. The holographic image of Snape appeared in front of him.
"What's wrong?" Ian asked.
"Sir, some Death Eaters mentioned some issues. Many people are not talented or patient enough to engage in research, so they are asking if there are other ways to contribute to the organization?" Snape explained.
Ian pondered for a moment and responded calmly, "That's a question. Let's arrange for them to go to the training program of Werewolf and Vampire. Speaking of which, how is the training going?"
"According to the training plan designed by officer Muggles, they have now become a truly elite magical force. But..." Snape paused, seeming to hesitate.
"Is there any problem?" Ian asked.
"No problem. It's just that I am doing research and Lily's affairs, and I feel that there is really not enough time. So, I want to find someone to take charge of this part of the work instead of me." Snape's voice revealed a hint of fatigue.
"Well, do you have any candidates?" Ian asked.
"Malfoy family." Snape replied.
"Malfoy family? I remember they have been studying transplanting magic organs into wizards and Muggles?" Ian asked with some confusion.
"Narcissa is mainly responsible for this research, so Lucius can be responsible for training the army." Snape explained.
"Okay, if that's the case, then I'll do as you say. Is there anything else?" Ian nodded with a calm tone.
"No more, sir." Snape replied briefly.
"Then let's do it." Ian put down the phone.
--
Ian and Amelia were walking on the lowest floor of Ministry of Magic, followed by a man wearing a hood.
"How are things going?" Ian asked.
"The progress is going quite smoothly. The plan to introduce Muggles technology into Britain Wizarding World is already going smoothly. We just need to purchase these devices and then transform them through magic." Amelia replied with a relaxed tone.
"Is there any international reaction?" Ian continued to ask.
"Less than we expected. Little Ian, your reputation is greater than you think." Amelia smiled.
"So how is your magic ability?" Ian asked.
"It's also very good. Recently, I broke through the first and second restrictions by following the practice method you gave me and Potions's assistance. The process was simpler than I thought." Amelia answered confidently.
Ian nodded, he was not surprised by Amelia's talent. According to the original timeline, Amelia was originally one of the strongest wizards of this period. She once fought Death Eaters single-handedly without fear, until it was Voldemort who ended her life in person.
"How is your Mana level?" Ian asked.
"Mana?" Amelia looked at him, a little confused.
"I recently learned that the power of magic was called Mana in the past, so I also call it that now." Ian explained.
"It turns out that there is indeed an indescribable force in the body. Since I used the potion you gave me to break through to the 60-fold level, I found it a bit difficult to control the energy you call Mana. So I stopped improving and started practicing control. Once I get used to this level, I will continue to use the potion." Amelia said with a smile.
"Understood." Ian nodded, "I don't have this problem myself, maybe because my soul is very strong, but not everyone can have such a strong soul as mine."
Soon after, they arrived at their destination - Department of Mysteries of Ministry of Magic.
A group of people were waiting there, to be precise, they were members of Department of Mysteries. Amelia glanced around and said, "As I said before, Ian and the people behind him will lead your research."
The members of Department of Mysteries all showed excitement. Since the new minister took office, Amelia has invested a lot of money to support their research, and now, her department will be led by a world-class wizard.
Ian is also excited. Although he has quietly entered this department for research, especially when World Gate was first created, now, he has full authority, and has more help and understanding of magic. He foresees that his World Gate research will soon have a breakthrough.
He smiled and took out a bunch of crowns and tiaras from his bag, put one on his head, handed the other to the person behind him, and then distributed the rest to the members.
The production of these tiaras almost bankrupted Ian, but the thing about Luck is that he owned multiple Philosopher's Stones, which barely made up for these losses. Ian explained the intelligence-enhancing function of the tiaras and said, "Some of you will study time and space with me, and some of you will study love and death with the people behind you. Are there any questions?"
Seeing that everyone had no problems, Ian motioned everyone to go to the conference room. Then, he had a separate conversation with the masked person behind him.
"Have you adapted to life after resurrection?" Ian asked in a low voice.
"Yes. But I simply can't believe how different the world has become." Lily said with a hint of emotion in his voice.
"Very good. Have you seen Harry?" Ian asked.
"Harry? He has grown up and looks very good. I am very satisfied." A gentle smile appeared on Lily's face.
"Well, considering his situation, he has indeed grown very well." Ian responded with a smile.
Lily sighed, she didn't expect her sister to be like this. But in this case, she could only be grateful that her sister was willing to adopt Harry.
"When can I see him?" Lily asked, his eyes full of expectation.
"Soon." Ian replied.
"I can wait, but please don't forget your promise." Lily whispered.
"I always keep my word. As long as you can discover some secrets about love magic and death magic, I will reward you with points. As long as you accumulate enough points, I can resurrect your husband for you." Ian responded seriously.
"I will trust you." Lily nodded.
Then, Ian began research on various departments of Department of Mysteries, especially the research on time and space. He first looked through all the research results of Department of Mysteries. Although he had quietly obtained some before, he soon discovered that the truly valuable research results were closely hidden, and even he could not find them.
Just like that, the second school year ended.
