How Could That Work?!

Stark was frantic at this moment.

Although he had indeed witnessed Hulk's strength before, he had never expected Hulk to be this difficult to handle!

Stark hurriedly explained, "I know you can teleport people away with that... magic of yours. But what I mean is... can you subdue him? He's actually a member of the Avengers too, but because of certain circumstances, he lost control. It's complicated, and we don't have time to discuss it now. I'll explain everything after we deal with this."

Perhaps because time was tight, Stark could not fully explain the situation.

What he said was rather vague, but fortunately, Luo Bai understood.

"You mean I only need to subdue him, right?" Luo Bai asked.

Stark nodded. "Right. Don't hurt him. He's actually a good person."

"That's easy." Luo Bai answered confidently.

Though Stark trusted Luo Bai's strength, he still worried that Luo Bai was being too careless.

"I know you're a mage and you're powerful, but you still need to be careful. He's not easy to deal with at all!" Stark warned.

Luo Bai said nothing and simply walked straight toward Hulk.

At this moment, Hulk was being surrounded and attacked by the police and S.H.I.E.L.D.

A large number of police cars and helicopters had nearly encircled Hulk, and the entire street had been sealed off.

Most of the civilians who needed to evacuate had already left. It was clear that S.H.I.E.L.D. intended to contain Hulk within this area.

Although they had managed that, the bullets were still far too weak against Hulk.

In contrast, Hulk's strength was more than they could bear.

He could not imagine Luo Bai having the nerve to face Hulk head-on without any weapons.

Natasha, standing beside him, was also surprised and could not help agreeing. "That's dangerous. Do you need me to bring him out?"

Nick Fury said nothing, frowning as though he were considering it.

He did not really believe that Luo Bai was some mage with magic.

But based on what they had investigated so far and Stark's assessment, Luo Bai did indeed possess remarkable abilities.

If so, why not let him try? What if he really could control Hulk?

With that thought, Nick Fury quickly replied, "No. Let him try. Go tell those people to stop attacking for now. Don't let them hurt Luo Bai."

Natasha nodded, then went to make the arrangements.

She soon returned and continued observing with Nick Fury.

Hulk had clearly noticed Luo Bai by now.

After the street was sealed off, there was barely anyone to be seen nearby.

Most of the armed personnel were hiding behind police cars or in helicopters, attacking with weapons and guns. With someone suddenly walking toward him so openly, Hulk's attention was naturally drawn to him.

Hulk was furious.

His anger made veins bulge across his body and took over his mind. He had completely lost the ability to think.

The instant Luo Bai entered his sight, Hulk fixed his bloodshot gaze on him and lifted a car parked by the roadside.

Hulk's intentions were obvious.

Everyone could tell that he was about to throw the car in his hands at Luo Bai.

By normal logic, anyone who saw Hulk lift a car should have taken evasive action.

But even when Hulk hurled the car in his hands at Luo Bai, he did not make the slightest movement.

"What is he doing?" Nick Fury could not help muttering.

At this moment, it was not just him who did not understand. Even Stark, who was closest to Luo Bai, did not understand.

"Luo Bai, what are you doing?! Use your magic!" Stark shouted anxiously.

But the instant he finished speaking, the car Hulk had thrown shot toward Luo Bai like an arrow loosed from a bow.

Then, like a meteor... it brushed past Luo Bai.

In an instant, everyone was dumbfounded.

A huge question mark appeared in their minds.

Wait, what??

That worked too??!

Everyone fell silent.

The silence was deafening.

Even Hulk... seemed to look stunned for a moment.

No one knew how long the silence lasted before Nick Fury finally snapped out of it and could not help complaining, "Say, does Hulk have bad eyesight?"

"I watched him smash helicopters, and he was pretty accurate. I never thought his eyesight was this bad before??" Natasha could not help replying.

Stark even cursed, "Oh, fuck!! Why was he so accurate when he was hitting me??!"

If anyone said Hulk had bad eyesight, Stark would be the first to disagree.

After all, while fighting Hulk just now, he had been hit countless times. His armor was practically about to be scrapped.

So why had Hulk thrown so wide when aiming at Luo Bai?!
