Background / History

Luo Tai led the Poison Dragon Mercenary Group in Stone Desert City and had dominated the city’s mercenary world for decades. By the time of his conflict with the Desert Iron Mercenary Group, accumulated hidden injuries had reduced him from his former peak, though he remained a Five-Star Battle Master. 41 42

He spoiled his only bloodline, Luo Yi, throughout the boy’s life, enabling Luo Yi’s lawless and arrogant behavior. Luo Tai also adopted Lin Qi, who regarded him as a godfather. 42 43

Luo Tai entered the forest to rescue Luo Yi, correctly recognizing the site as a trap but proceeding because his son was in immediate danger. He endured Qing Mo’s concealed flying knife, then faced a Sand Sea Giant Python and a concealed Scarlet-Scaled Sand Python. 45 46

The Scarlet-Scaled Sand Python pierced his Dou Qi defense, injected venom into his neck, and constricted him. Luo Tai used his remaining strength to push Luo Yi away before the Sand Sea Giant Python bit him in half. 47
