Shen Yue had always protected Shen Mo well. Since Shen Mo was wearing white today and had no intention of making a move, he had kept his aura restrained and stayed within the protective circle.

He had experienced the power of Absolute Defense before. Any attack carrying hostility or danger toward him would explode into a spray of blood the moment it entered the defensive range.

The sight was truly unpleasant, and it wasted clothes too, so he had always avoided it. He had not expected it to become the breakthrough point for that beast's attack.

Shen Mo glared viciously at the Mutant Beast, wondering whether he should secretly use Mo Blade to kill it from a distance.

At that moment, Yang Xuan, who had been continuously drawing its aggro from the front, finally discovered its weakness. "This beast has strong defenses. Its weak point is its eyes. Hearing Yang Xuan's shout, Cui Yang and Leng Shiyi immediately changed their strategy.

He felt exhausted now. Not having a weapon was truly inconvenient sometimes.

Thinking of this, he could not help reaching out to touch his waist, where his gun had originally been. It had been taken away for modifications.

Once it was finished, he would be able to use his ability to fire bullets. Then he could take down Mutant Beasts of this level in just a few moves.

Leng Shiyi ignored them and continued scanning the surroundings vigilantly. He said coldly, "Rest first. Since there are people here, there should be other survivors nearby. I remember there's a gas station up ahead. Let's go there and collect some gasoline first. Fill up the vehicles, then take as much as we can carry."

Shen Mo quietly moved beside the Mutant Beast's body. After successfully collecting the Second-Order Crystal Core detected by the system, he looked at everyone upon hearing that. He wanted to say something but did not know how to put it.

"What's wrong, little brother? Are you feeling unwell anywhere?" Shen Yue handed Shen Mo the ice water Leng Shiyi had given her and asked with concern.

"Well, I'm not uncomfortable or anything. It's just..." Shen Mo hesitated.

I don't know what excuse I should use to reveal the ability I made up. Should I just perform an awakening on the spot?

After all, I'll be able to help out in a bit.

After all, I'm only helping you collect supplies for my sister's sake. Whether you want it or not is up to you. I'm not losing out either way.

But it feels much better after saying it. Those pretty clothes I collected a few days ago can finally be taken out openly too.

The first time, they had gone to the warehouse. There could not possibly have been clothes there.

Either he had secretly collected them while he was with them before, or he had gone out to collect them while they were away.

The first possibility could be ruled out, because they knew very clearly that Shen Mo had not originally had Spatial Ability.

That left the question: how had Shen Mo avoided them and gone so far away to collect supplies? How had he gotten there, and how had he returned?
