Eris widened her red eyes as she watched Kayin raise the dazzling Tachi.
Kayin felt half the vast Magic Power within him vanish in an instant, and it was still draining away at a furious rate. It hurt to spend so much, but he swung the blade forward!
A piercing sword hum rang out. Everyone present except Rujierd and Alexander clapped their hands over their ears!
The miasma seemed to be devoured by something. A massive blade of light, packed with tremendous Battle Aura and Magic Power, split it in two! At the same time, a terrifying surge of Magic Power scattered the dense miasma for dozens of miles around.
Everyone stood stunned. The thick miasma they had been unable to drive away was gone without a trace. Not a wisp remained for dozens of miles.
All that from one slash! It was terrifying!
That was absolute power. In the gloom, the False God Blade blazed toward the sky, like a spark of hope sent down by a god to light the world.
The adventurers in the surrounding parties finally recovered from their shock. Tearing their eyes from the blade of light in the black-haired boy's hand, they could at last see the monsters around them.
And Kayin's adventurer party, standing at the very front of the horde.

They had had no idea until he struck. With the miasma gone, hordes of high-level monsters stood revealed in the forest.
The adventurer parties still alive saw the godlike boy raise the dazzling Tachi that lit up the dark forest, and rushed toward Kayin's party.
Someone recognized him. Wasn't he the young Sword God from yesterday?!
