North Saint Gyes stared at his two men lying in pools of blood by the door. His pupils contracted, and a vein bulged on his forehead. Rage filled his mind. If he found out who had done this, he would make them pay with their life.

Fuming, North Saint Gyes led his remaining men inside. The cages had been smashed, the cells were empty, and every captive beastfolk girl was gone. His eyes went red with fury, and he clenched his fists tight.

"Who did this?! I'll kill them!"

"Looking for those little beastfolk girls? I freed them. If you have a problem with that, come fight me one-on-one... Though I don't mind taking you all on."

A cool, indifferent voice, still touched with a boy's youth, sounded behind them.

North Saint Gyes frowned. The hand gripping his sword trembled slightly. An inexplicable sense that something was wrong enveloped him. He did not know why, but he could tell the boy was not to be trifled with.

"You bastard! Is that any way to talk to our boss? Don't get cocky!"
