Background

Cain transmigrated into the body of a three-year-old boy whose original owner had starved to death. Sword God Gal Farion found and took him in, raising him through punishing Sword God Style training that included forcing him to fight packs of monsters for food. 19

At age twelve, Cain defeated a Sword Emperor and challenged Gal at the Sword God's Holy Land. Their exchange of Blade of Light ended with Cain expelled from the Holy Land, despite his standing as the new Sword God. 1 Later, Cain left rather than claim Gal's position and possessions, out of respect for his master. 53 56
